Cons: The elevator
Location: The purpose of our trip was to visit 2 places. First, was to go to the Multnomah falls and other surrounding falls. The hotel's location was in the ri
The room was clean with amenities for a short travel or even for a longer one. Rates were comparable. Overall good for a hotel room

Pros: Free breakfast, decent gym that no one uses, free parking
Cons: The cleaners left all of the used bed sheets and towels on the couch and did not take it.
Spacious suite, the hotel staff are very nice and welcoming every time I enter in. Enjoyed the cookies and coffee that they had out that were still warm in the evening!

Horrible management

Posted Apr 28, 2017
Room was dirty, towels were dirty, mattress and pillow had stains. Took a long time to check in and staff was not at front desk for long periods of time. Complained to staff and nothing was done except given new towels that were also dirty. Asked for manager she wasn't there all weekend. The worst part of my whole experience was the manager and how she treated me. Had to call her four times leaving messages before receiving a callback. She was rude and said she didn't believe I had any issues with my stay. I was so upset I was in tears and she did nothing but argue with me and continue to be rude. Whole experience with this hotel was horrible and I will never stay there again.

Absolutely dissatisfied

Posted Apr 18, 2017
Pros: Easy access to 205.
Cons: Everything listed above! Friendlier and more competent staff. Clean water in pool.
Location: Restaurants close by and the shuttle will drive you, Easy access to 205.
Smoke alarm chirp at 11 pm, three changes of battery to fix, the young man said he would get another one out of another unit, I had to make another call and insist on a fresh battery. water in pool cloudy, I wouldn't have put my big toe in that water. No forks in the breakfast area, when I asked the hotel staff that was in the dining room I was told she wasn't the breakfast staff but would see what she could do. She went through the door and after 15 minutes and cold eggs I tossed them and left. T V did not have a signal each time I turned it on and there was a long list of steps to take to get the signal. WiFi was very weak.....this is not acceptable. I will not stay at this hotel again and I will not trust Expedia's ratings again. Carol Bhear

Suites top regular hotel rooms!

Posted Apr 6, 2017
Pros: Everything - didn't use the small pool, jacuzzi or gym, but they looked inviting.
Cons: Lotion bottle was only half-full & very small, so when I used it in the evening there was nothing left for the morning.
Location: Easy access from I-205 & some restaurants in walking distance.
Having the suite with a separated sitting area was great, as I like to sleep in & my husband likes to get up early with a cup of coffee. The kitchenette was also a plus, as I have lots of food issues & we could bring food to warm up there - even had paper plates & plastic cutlery sets with salt & pepper. Very nice & responsive staff, good breakfast buffet, & good shuttle to the airport. I'd stay there again & recommend it to anyone, even if they didn't need the airport.

Staff

Posted Mar 28, 2017
The check in was great. When we went to check out there was no hotel staff. We waited at the counter, for about 15min., and no one showed up. The spa was really hot and the pool was really cold.

great hotel, love the sitting area, nice breakfast

Posted Mar 21, 2017
Pros: Very nice place. Great staff. Close to everything..
Cons: i was billed for incidentals on my credit card but did not incur any. Not a practice I've ever heard of in any hotel anywhere in the world.
Extra charge on my credit card for incidentals was made without my knowledge. Imprint of credit card taken as usual upon arrival, and no information was stated that your organization does this. I was under the impression that charges are made if you actually incur any incidentals.

Dear Rosie, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts regarding this issue. We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. I do apologize the front desk staff didn't inform you of the Authorization hold. It is hold for incidentals or as some hotels call it a deposit that is returned to you after check out . We do have a sign on the front desk as well. Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback in regards to your recent stay at the SpringHill Suites Portland Airport.
