Well run, good breakfastPosted Nov 9, 2015
Location: Easy access to freeway. About 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, 20 minutes from downtown Portland. Near the hotel are suburban shopping malls.
Quiet, friendly staff, nice breakfast. The location requires a car for most purposes, especially on the weekends. There are express buses to many locations, including Portland, from a park and ride about .5 miles away (distance is my guess).

Very nice hotelPosted Oct 19, 2015
This hotel was above and beyond what I expected. The hotel and room was clean and modern. My room was comfortable. Breakfast was included and had a bonus evening snack. They offered a few washer & dryer vs other hotels that only had 1. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel in VancouverPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Location, Hotel Staff, Hotel Specials
Location: Columbia River Gorge, Old Scenic Highway to see the waterfalls, including Multnomah Falls, Vista House, Downtown Portland, Pittock Mansion
I had a great experience at Staybridge Suites Vancouver- Portland! The room is set up for long term stay, so it has a lot of great kitchen amenities, full size refrigerator, two stove top burners, microwave, and dishes. This hotel offers free a social hour with free dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 Tues, Wed, and Thursday nights. I did not know that when I booked, so it was an extra bonus. It was great! All staff I talked to was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice, easy access to Vancouver or Portland!

Nice hotelPosted Aug 30, 2015
Pros: The kitchenette and the cleanliness.
We stayed here while for 3 nights while visiting to see a friend from high school get married. We really enjoyed our stay here overall. Very kind staff, clean room, and very comfortable. I loved that our room had a kitchenette in it - the fridge, microwave and the plates, etc all came in handy. Though I had intentions to wash our dishes, when house keeping came they took care of it. Check in and check out was easy, and overall the location was ideal for us as well. Our only complaint was that we were in a room right next to a back door exit/entrance and stairs on the first floor, which of course there were noisy people slamming/banging/knocking on the back door and the always disrespectful guests leaving early in the morning who refuse to pick up their suitcase while going down the stairs - however, this was an issue with the guests - not the fault of the hotel by any means. We would recommend staying here, the overall satisfaction was exceptional, and the price wasn't too bad either. Thanks!

Family Travel / GraduationPosted Aug 20, 2015 on Hotels
In the area for a family graduation and booked two rooms for several days. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and made you feel welcomed. Hallways were a bit tight to maneuver in, but otherwise we were very happy with our room. The neighborhood is business oriented, so if you have children and want to walk, this is not the location for you.

Clean, comfortable, good amenities. Only downside was it was a long way out of Portland.

Great staff at the front desk.Posted Jul 28, 2015 on Hotels
Very friendly & cooperative staff. While I slept comfortably, my youngest niece didn't on the sofa bed, too hard, needed a thick mattress pad to place down on it. Also layout of bathroom only accessible through bedroom was a bit odd, esp if it hadn't been family sharing the rooms. But overall, I would return again as long as it was just 2 and not 3 of us to share the accommodations.

Great hotel with kitchen comforts!Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Kitchenette and DVD player, hot breakfast, free parking and free internet. Airport transportation shuttle and 5 mile radius shuttle.
Cons: Couch and 2 carpet stains.
Location: Walking to restaurants, mall. Walking for exercise. Recommend having a car.
Fabulous hotel! Most comfortable hotel with all the comforts of home. Stayed for 8 days. Had light cleaning service daily which was perfect. The hot breakfast was outstanding. The young girl who ran the kitchen was helpful and kept each dish well stocked. A bonus to have dinner on Tue-Thurs! Nice treat. The bed was outstandingly comfortable as was the room. Lots of outlets for all of our electronic devices. The kitchenette was perfect and had everything we needed. Full fridge with ice maker was a nice addition. Lovely sidewalks to start off the day with a great walk in a safe area. If your fit, you could walk to restaurants and the mall, about 1 mile. Easy walk. Just wish there was a Staybridge in Portland! We were in room 224, would suggest replacing couch. (has a small tear but overall comfortable). Loved that the hotel provided transportation within a 5 mile radius.

Nicely remodeled hotel in great neighborhood.Posted Jul 8, 2015 on Hotels
The insulation between floors doesn't dampen sound from above rooms. Suggest you ask for top floor room if that bothers you.
