Lovely spotPosted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: The breakfast and The location
Location: The location is across the street from the ocean with no obstructed views.
We enjoyed our two night stay at The Beach House. The location is perfect. It's right across the street from the ocean and a half mile walk from Mothers beach. The Breakfast was delicious with more than enough to eat. We sat outside on the lawn chairs and enjoyed the ocean breeze. The only thing that wasn't perfect was our room. We chose a premium room, but, it was on the small side. The air conditioning was a little noisy, but, opening the windows, even in August ,did the trick. The cost for two nights was $581.00. So, I don't think that I would want to spend more for a larger room. We had room 204 and it had a double bed and a very small bathroom. But, all in all, we had a lovely time . The latest cation was perfect!!

Cozy beach house hotel on the oceanPosted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: Location Location Location. Oceanfront, with beach theme throughout the hotel. Being able to eat breakfast on the front porch with that ocean view.
Cons: Wi-Fi and a clock in the room
Location: Shopping, restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating.
To me this was a comfy oceanside hotel. Theme inside was very beachy. All things I remember as a kid, spending all my summers in new england. Eating breakfast on the front porch what better way to start a day.

Great beach hotel in Kennebunk.Posted Jul 31, 2015
Cons: Interior is little dated.
Location: Near great places like Kennebunkport. Shopping, lobsters, lobsters, lobsters....
Great location, great amenities like bikes, beach parking passes, breakfast, fire pit next to lodge in evenings. Also tea and cookies in afternoon and wine and cheeses before dinner. Very civilized.

Beach House with an ocean view.Posted Jul 29, 2015
Cozy beach house across from the ocean. Garden grounds, outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows. Charming block, quintessential Maine summer living. Short 5 min drive to shops, dining, boating in Kennebunkport. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Would have enjoyed a better mattress. All in all a great place to stay for a few days.

Un endroit agréable et magnifique.Posted Jun 30, 2015

Beach House by the oceanPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Antique furnishings, friendly staff, porch facing the ocean and very quiet.
Cons: The bathroom radiator was rusty and in need of cleaning. There was a large watermark in the ceiling over the tub. Also for a longer stay a small chest
Location: Great location across from the beach. Whale watches, tall ships, great restaurants ESP. For seafood and lobster. Saw a wonderful show at the Ogunquit
Enjoyed the continental breakfasts more than adequate especially liked the cookies tea and coffees in the afternoon. The wine, brand, and cheese and crackers out on t he porch looking at the ocean was most enjoyable. We had a very nice first floor room with easy access to the parking area. We loved walking the large beach and roaming through the shops in Kennebunkport. Our room was very comfortable as was the bed.
