Kennebunkport Visit

Posted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: I liked that it was tucked away and quiet, yet close.
Location: Definitely close to everything-downtown, Bush house etc. You can drive and park and then walk.
I will ABSOLUTELY return. Very friendly, clean and so quaint. Had breakfast on the lawn. QUIET!

Quiet yet convenient location

Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: I liked the size of the room, the friendly staff, and the fact that my room was on the first floor.
Location: It was a nice day so we enjoyed the 27-minute walk into Kennebunkport. If we'd had more time we would have seen more of tourist attractions.
Our room and bathroom were spacious in comparison with the other hotels where we've stayed recently. The staff was friendly and available. The location was convenient to town yet quiet. The breakfast only included cold foods, but it was very good.

Quaint Inn

Posted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: Office staff, country setting, outdoor seating
Cons: Pool is small and the walkway near hotel is a little uneven
Location: Just outside of the center of town with plenty of pedestrian activities including shopping and restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay. The inn was nice and Sophie's customer service at the office was great. This was close to the center of town, but tucked away on a quiet street. Wish the pool was bigger! If we had time, breakfast outside would have been nice.

Great stay

Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Free breakfast. Nice staff. Clean rooms.
Cons: Hot breakfast!
Location: Like a mile to dt kennebunkport where there are restaurants & shops!
We were in town for a wedding and had never been to Kennebunkport. This place was close to everything including downtown and the rooms were nice and clean and the staff was very nice. I definitely would come back & stay here if I was ever to come back to Kennebunkport!

Good location

Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: The bathroom was new and the staff was very nice.
Cons: The bedding needs to be better quality!
Location: Location is great! Close to beaches and downtown.
Sophie at the front desk was very helpful and friendly! The room was clean but very dated. The bedspreads looked old and worn. The mattress pad did not fit the mattress properly and slid of.

Excellent facilities close to town

Posted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: The best features were the size of the room, the pool, and the friendliness of the staff.
The hotel was convenient and easy to find. The size of the room was more than adequate for two people. The pool was clean and comfortable, and we were glad it was there on a hot day. The staff members were friendly, and the continental breakfast was just right. We would return to this hotel the next time we are in Kennebunkport.

Good location for Mount Washington activities

Posted Aug 2, 2013
Pros: We definitely enjoyed the breakfast choices.
Cons: The busy decor calmed down by removing knick knacks and busy walls and flooring..
Location: We visited the bridges, falls, the top of Mount Washington, the Victorian Hotels of the 1800's. Te inn has a great location
We found the Jackson area of New Hampshire full of activities both in history and nature. The Innkeepers were quite helpful. The inn was in a good location. My only criticism is there's too much clutter and the flowered wallpaper and flooring were over the top. My suggestion is to update the common areas by removing some of the busy-ness in the decor. The breakfasts were quite nice.
