Checkin glitch with Expedia card processing of prepayment rectified by staff with room upgrade and friendly, helpful attitude. Only issue is the neighborhood which is heavily commercialized. Underequipped fitness center. Weak wifi. Not enough value here to make a return visit next weekend; booking different airport property.

Minutes from Airport

Pros: Convenience to airport.
Location: If you enjoy touring a warehouse district...There is no shopping or dining, not even fast food nearby.
This hotels only real redeeming feature is it's closeness within 3 miles of the airport with good shuttle service and free parking even beyond your stay. Beyond that, it was over $200 a night for almost no amenities. No breakfast, not even free coffee. They brought two complementary beers to our room at check in but when we informed them that we do not drink alcohol and asked for water or a soda substitute we were refused! Will most likely be our last choice in the future if we are flying into or out of Portland. There is no shopping or restaurants nearby, only a warehouse district for air freight companies. Normal check-out is at noon. We had made arrangements for a later check-out at 3 pm since we had a very late arriving flight and needed to sleep in a bit longer. At 10 am, 2 hours before normal check-out, let alone or late request. the housekeeper was knocking on our door.

Wish they had a pool. The hot chocolate machine need to be replenish more often.

No complementary breakfast if you book online you will have to pay extra for park and fly other than that it was good.

Pros: comfortable, laid back, sports bar
We loved this place. We spent two nights after a drive up the coast from Sausalito with a flight back to OK from Portland. The sports bar here was our Favorite place we went on our little mini vacay. Food was great, patio by the lake was perfect for outside dining plus they had a little walking path for after meal walks. We are mid 60's love go go places but have some aches and pains that prevent us from scheduling many activities when we travel. We plan our hotel stays based on bar/food availability because that is what we enjoy the most. I found myself looking for our next trip with this place in mind as a stopover we enjoyed our stay here so much. Friendly and helpful staff. ***********stars for us!

Portland

Cons: The construction crew more or less takes over the breakfast buffet line if I am there when they are which creates a delay getting to my work.
Location: I come strictly on business but this time I stayed longer to visit Downtown.
I stay here whenever I come to Portland on business. The staff always remembers me and makes the stay warm and welcoming. Wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Wonderful

Pros: Staff, grounds, room
Cons: Only complaint would be breakfast buffet. Meat was tasteless and potatoes had too much rosemary that's all you could taste.
Location: Close to airport and shopping
Staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean and super comfortable. Will definitely be back. Hotel grounds include a lake with wildlife to watch, even saw the lake otter swimming.

pricey for amenities offered

The air conditioner did not cool the room. The shuttle driver was awesome! Sleep number bed was comfortable.
