This place was disappointing.
It could be a really great hotel - fantastic location, immediately across the street from a huge public white sand beach, and lots to see and do in the area. First impressions were good - arrived after a transatlantic flight and they had a room ready for check-in before 9:30am.
However - the managers need to make a decision to prioritize either their hotel guests (in which case they need to do something about the unacceptable noise from the bar/disco downstairs and the bar patrons yelling outside until the wee hours of the morning, mid-week), OR the bar (in which case, let people make as much noise as they want, but then the rooms immediately above the bar should not be used).
The "fold-away bed" was an old, narrow camp-cot with saggy zig-zag metal springs and a thin foam pad on top - and a spring gave way under my son in the middle of the night. The hotel needs to just throw these out - they're useless. This is not the place to cut corners.
