Bed was rather uncomfortable, and I believe we were instructed to leave the room as we found - ie-dishes clean but there was no dish tray or towel to dry. Best as a spot for younger people. It’s an easy walk from the train station but a heck of an uphill walk back. Most important. Clean and quiet . Tks"

Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. "Old style European hotel. Lovely architecture, centrally located and old world ambiance. Views of the lake are exceptional. Staff was extremely helpful and polite- despite being harried constantly by guests. Especially Gloria! My wife left her phone in the transport car from Milan airport. She got it back for us! Breakfast was good, clean, efficient as was maid and front desk service. Only downside was no Kleenex in the rooms. But that’s really nothing."

Why they didn't get the spa to call our room or allow us to book at reception I guess we'll never know."
