Accessible, helpful, convenient for aerporto and comfortable
Excellent value for the money, almost new facilities, nice condition, great staff. Would definitely stay here again.
The House Ribeira hotel in Porto is conveniently located close to the Douro/Ribeira square. It's a short walk away from the Sao Bento train station and the Cathedral, as well as several other local sights. While the room was pretty basic, there were a few nice touches that make the hotel stand out: ...
The staff was very gracious and communicated with us perfectly. They gave recommendations on places to eat and places to go for port tastings. They spoke perfect English to us and helped us learn a few Portuguese phrases to help us out. We had a corner suite with a view of the Duoro river. The room ...
Fantastic location. Clean. Efficient. Spacious. Well-priced. Overall rating: A+
We could walk everywhere. The terrace was nice but the rain was not. Fourth-floor walkup was sometimes a struggle but worth it. Helpful and friendly staff.
Very beautiful hotel from the past, very well being renewed with great materials , located in the middle of the living Rua Santa Catarina, close to Bolhao metro station and to Sao Bento rail station. Breakfast is correct but not great, and we would expect a possibility to make a warm drink in the ...
Overall a great hotel for the price. Location is just north of downtown and all the activities so ideal especially if you prefer a quieter stay.
The hotel is really small in size but it is very comfortable and clean. They also provide guests with complimentary continental breakfast every morning. While it has no elevator, reception staff was so kind to carry our suitcases up the stairs for us. We were on the top floor. Our experience was ...
I got a great deal at this hotel and it was such a treat. Very modern and cool, even got a free glass of port. I was sort of surprised this place felt so empty. It’s really well situated and a beautiful hotel. It’s a tad dark (they have this whole theater theme but it’s not too kitschy) and some ...
The ship is well maintained with rather small stateroom a certain noise is present as to people coming and going over the gang way and machinery running. A pleasant stay for people who enjoy a maritime environment, Could do with a coffee machine available at all times. Ole Aagaard
We enjoyed our stay greatly. This hotel is not like any other place, starting from great location to interior design and staff friendliness. Loved it!
Everything about it is amazing. Great people running it, beautiful suites, super clean ! Muito obrigado ! Will definitely stay at this hotel again !
What a find! A former art school, now transformed into a hotel teaching students in hospitality. So eager to please. Beautiful spacious room. Good location. Gourmet dinner there at reasonable price. Good breakfasts. Highly recommended for stay in Porto, a beautiful city.
Top hotel, great servive, comfortable. Terrible internet, very slow or non existant
Nice location, we had a view overlooking the river. The staff was not very friendly when checking in. Room was nice and big, but the bed was horrible. Two beds pushed together and very hard. The bathroom had a sewer smell. We would not stay there again.
Right on the river next to the bridge so you can walk everywhere and enjoy Porto's lovely riverfront. Climb the stairs uptown for a vigorous workout (or cheat and use funicular next door) then cross the bridges top level for vertiginous views, especially romantic at night. Descend on the other side ...
very convenient location, everything is in a walking distance, friendly staff, nice, clean apartments, parking in the basement (12 euro/day)
The staff were all really nice, the rooms were clean, spacious and mine had an individual balcony. While there was plenty of room for a double or queen bed, there was just a twin bed with a very bad mattress, so it was not comfortable.
I arrived at 3.15. Rang the door bell for 15 mins. Nobody answered. There was a construction site next to the hotel which was noisy and dusty. Parking was very difficult. I left Porto and cancelled the remaining nights.
The hotel is close to the Sao Bento train station, and to all main attractions in Porto. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful, although there was little variety day to day. The room is good size and with good windows that completely shut out street noise. Floors are creaky, ...
