Ideal self catering accommodation close to Marian.

Posted Oct 3, 2017
Pros: Close to Marian - 5 mins walk. Easy access to supermarket. Great central location for southern corsica.
Cons: Provide a proper sofa rather than sofa bed.
Location: Really good restaurants, easy although uphill walk to interesting old town. Good beaches.
Easy check in. Apartment was clean and most crockery etc provided. Rooms spacious, plus great space on balcony.

Really large, spacious apartment. Nice pool with plenty of loungers. Friendly staff. Only positives and don't think pics do it justice.

The apartment is spacious and clean. The facilities are excellent -small problem with the wifi not being great, but otherwise everything perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful. I will definitely go there again.

Nice Apartments close to the Port

Posted Oct 4, 2016
The location is fantastic. Its walking distance from the port. The port is very vibrant with lots of bars, restaurants, cafes etc. There is a large supermarket just outside of the apartment complex, making it easily to purchase provisions for breakfast etc. The apartment was comfortable, the kitchen was adequate. The swimming pool is large and well maintained. There is also plenty of parking available for your car. The only 2 downsides of this place are : 1. The reception is open only for a limited number of hours. The check in is only between 5pm-7pm and if you miss this slot, its a problem. 2. There is no ongoing housekeeping. The room is serviced on a weekly basis. On the whole, Salina Bay is a nice and comfortable place to stay and I would not hesitate recommending it.

Porto-vechio is a perfect place for visiting the South of Corse and the Salina Bay was nice to come back to in the evenings.

+ve Great accommodation in a great location. Lovely pool and never felt overcrowded. Friendly, helpful staff on reception. -ve You have to provide own cloth/brush/detergent/teatowels for washing dishes &/or tablets for dishwasher. Limited knives for food preparation, too. WiFi not very good in the apartment.

Excellent accommodation, clean & well decorated. Large patio and very spacious inside. The only negative was the wifi as the connection was very poor. Outside the grounds were kept in immaculate condition with a good pool area. Parking was great too. All within easy walking distance of the supermarket which is just over the road and the port which is a 5-10min walk away.

great hotel,good location

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: the size of the rooms
Cons: the parking spots and the pool
Location: very pretty but not a lot to do, had to drive to see sites. The little village nearby was worth a visit and had lots of restaurants in it.
We found the hotel very comfortable and well equipped. It was situated close to a supermarket and some very nice restaurants. The grounds of the hotel were well kept although the pool was very deep and also very cold. there was plenty of parking space, but the large stones on the parking spots made it difficult to drive on and off, everyone had the same problem, so they may want to look into that one.

A perfect base for exploring south Corsica

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: 2 rooms, one over the pool Block A - hot in the mornings and noisy during the day one rear facing Block C room view of the mountains cool and quiet
Cons: Needs a place to meet other than your room
Location: Crazy golf at Tarco, beach/ tower at Fautea, Selenguiia beach for watersports (paddle board, windsurfing peddalo and catermerans. Palombaggia good too
A lovely setting a short walk from the port and restaurants. Manicured grounds, clean pool and plenty of space. Kids play area for table tennis and climbing etc. Well thought out kitchen with enough stuff to cook basic meals, easy to buy from the nearby supermarket or whilst out and about. Down side - no place to hang out, other than by the pool - nowhere to meet for a drink and swap stories of easily filled days, other than each others rooms or in town. Room cleanliness down to you after arrival - lots of cleaners but none entered. Took own rubbish (no recycling facilities). Bought own loo rolls, towels used for the week. Need own pool towels too - took up valuable easyjet kilograms!. We would go back tomorrow. Had a great time. Highlight for kids the zip wire at Oespedail in the mountains and river swimming. For the grown ups the boat to Iles levezzi from Bonifacio. Overall brilliant but needs a meeting point/ bar on site.
