Generously sized apartment with large balcony and view across the bay to Porto Venere. Helpful staff and a choice of small town beaches nearby - not just the private ones.
We only had 2 nights at the royal but we enjoyed every minute! The salt water pool with views of the bay is a good start. Access to free (ir if you prefer - a pricey private) beach - we snorkels right across the street from the hotel and saw lots if interesting fish. A short walk to the town and ...

We had a well appointed room overlooking the beautiful bay between Portovenere and Palmeria. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.
Great place if you want to get away from the crowds and noise, but good bus access to Portovenere - ready for your Cinque Terre adventure. Friendly staff. Adequate breakfast. Restaurant for dinner was only average though.
