All in all good place, staff is nice. Breakfast is ok. About 5 minutes from Portsmouth. No real huge complaints

The place was very clean and the staff were very helpful and nice. They even kept the breakfast open for another few minutes to allow us to eat. The room was very spacious, clean, and nice. Very happy with the hotel and the staff. Highly recommend.

Very clean and good sized rooms. Staff was very friendly and we felt very welcome. The hotel lobby is spacious and there's a number of tables for guests enjoying the complimentary breakfast. There are a reasonable amount of options for the breakfast, both hot and cold.

The Homewood Suites provided nice spacious rooms. We had a 1 bedroom suite, with two queen beds. The room is spacious! The lounge area downstairs is very nice. There is outdoor seating and grills for the summer... Lovely! We would stay here again. The front desk staff was flat, but that did not effect our stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Staff was great and the facility is very nice. Not that much within walking distance but otherwise convenient location to downtown, 95, and Newington shopping. Will definitely be back!

We were there 7 days. Our room was never cleaned and no fresh towels were provided. The garbage can outside the door was never cleaned and garbage piled up for 7 days. It was a mess. The pool area was clean and small towels were available there. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Staff neglected to tell us at check in our room was right next to an exit and the parking lot and suggested we bring in our stuff the long way thru the lobby and down to the end of the hall. We discovered that once we found our room. Then it was very convenient!! It was great to have a pet friendly room.

The property was nice, the front desk attendant that checked us in was beyond rude, acted as if we were bothering him. I looked away for a moment while hecwas getting the pad ready for my debit card (to get a depisit for incidentals) i didn't slide my card in fast enough and he snapped "would you put your card in" we asked about places to check out and he was rudely said "there are maps right there, I'm not from here" If I hadn't stayed in ho.ewood suites before I probably wouldn't again based on his customer service!

Expedia states that check-in time is 3pm. It's 4pm. Room still wasn't ready. The TVs only get minimal network channels and logging into Netflix/Prime isn't possible. Also the TV can't be angled to see from the bed or the couch. The mattress was terrible. The HVAC system was super noisy all night. I was charged more than my Expedia price.

Great trip
This was our first time in Portsmouth and we liked the proximity of everything. The start was very accommodating during check in and allowed us to check in a little bit early , they also suggested some local things to go and see . The room was clean and a good size. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well kept. We didn’t use the gym or indoor pool but the gym is 24 hours which is great.

The handicap access buttons for the front doors were not working properly, and the breakfast buffet was not hot. But the staff were very helpful, and the pool was lovely.
