Took 3 rooms before we got one that didn’t have wet carpet. When they say limited dining for breakfast- they mean limited. Bagels and cereal.

It was good except its the second consecutive time that my room keys only worked the first time. Very annoying to me that the clerk tried to blame it on ME both times when we actually leave the second key inside the room!!! And only take one out with us 😡😡😡if it happens a third time we will stay somewhere else

Easy access to highway and good food. Facility was super quiet so was able to get a good night’s sleep. Everyone was super friendly!

Everything was perfect. Easy check in and out. Breakfast was much better than expected. Lots of clean towels. Privacy. Only issue was one of the housekeeping staff kept slamming the doors as the went to each room cleaning which was a little offsetting but other then that, a perfect stay. I will return.

As we entered the room, it smelled really nice - so inviting. The room was well cleaned which was so wonderful to see. The door frame in the bathroom could use a little dusting but not a big deal. The only thing I wish there was in the bathroom, was a drying rack/bar to hang our towels on after showering. It was would be nice if there are a ring or little nob by the mirror to hang a hand towel. We were nicely surprised that our room was tidied up while we were out shopping and got fresh towels and wash cloths. The only other thing and really there is not much you can do about due to lack of land space, is having more parking. When we came back Saturday night to park, we found only one place to park out back. I would not have felt comfortable with parking on the street. Over all, we were both very happy with our stay.

Room109 is VERY NOISY!
Front Dest staff was great…. And room was clean! Unfortunately we were in a room directly outside the lobby entrance/main stairs/ elevator, and it was the noisiest room I’ve stayed in. Room 109 was not great for a relaxing stay! Hopefully next visit will be quieter!

Well the ice machine wasnt working and the front desk couldnt give us any Two nights in a row our keys didnt work so we had to go down to the lobby to get a very unfriendly and unapologetic female to fix them. In fact she tried to blame the fact the keys didnt work on me 😡

First time staying here. Good price. Friendly check in service and free breakfast. Very small pillows and the mattress was missing a literal chunk. Made sleep rather uncomfortable.

Hotel is nice but we had a clogged toilet and they gave us a plunger to unclog it ourselves. Took more than an hour for someone to drop off the plunger. Left a message for manager, no response.

It was an okay place to stop in for a nights stay when passing through. The room was outdated a bit. There was free breakfast, but very limited choices. Cereal, but no milk. Toast, muffin, & bagel was about the only options. Nice staff.

Cute hotel near highways and downtown
Nostalgic hotel just outside of downtown Portsmouth. The rooms are generously sized, clean, with a comfortable mattress. The pillows are not great, and the check-in person was not friendly in the slightest. However, the hotel is cute, comfortable and convenient.
