A stunning, contemporary masterpiece of a hotel

Isabella, the owner is an absolute star and stayed late to welcome us when we were running nearly 4 hours behind schedule. The hotel is a little tricky to find at first but we soon realised it was behind a set of gargantuan wooden doors leading into a shared courtyard which, quite frankly, comes as a relief in Naples! There's a lift if you're not feeling up to a good few flights of gorgeous marble stairs and once inside you're greeted by contemporary artwork and clean, white walls. We stayed in the 'yellow' room, which was impeccably clean and up to date, yet with incredibly tall ceilings and a small balcony that offered views of Capri and the surrounding seafront. Free car parking was also provided within view in a separate building with a valet service. After the interesting drive into Naples during rush hour traffic, the hotel was a welcome relief from the madness on the streets below! Top marks.

Almost impossible to find the entrance!

It took 15 minutes to find out how to get to the hotel 'lobby!'. It is really just part of a floor in a large building. You go up some dingy stairs to a tiny rickety elevator to the 3rd floor, then finally on one door you see a sign. The 'receptionist' is only there in the morning, or when some is checking in. The street noise is awful. There were some kids sleeping in the hall / reception area being very loud, and no one to complain to!
