I can think of perhaps 3 staff members that were nice. Rest were inattentive, one in particular was absolutely rude and I have no idea how he is dealing with people on a daily basis. The hotel needs serious renovation and health and safety to be really looked in to. Rooms were below standard. Beds uncomfortable. I can be here all day mentioning how horrible my experience was.

Property was decent for the price, didn’t spend too much time there. It is near a train so I did hear that when I slept, also it was on a dark street. Limited parking, but that offer parking for 10€ a day. Don’t see why, get money where you can. I wouldn’t do the spa, waste of my money and the hot-tube was cold. The room was was average, very antique theme going on. Basic tv channels. Overall I’ll give it 6 out 10 for the price. Would recommend if you are in a budget!

32EURS per hour to use the Spa
I booked hotel Nabucco on the basis that it advertised as a hotel with Spa facilities at 4star level. At no point in its advert on hotels.com did it mention spa access was at an additional costs. There is specifically a section in the hotels.com page which provides the opportunity for hotels to advise both compulsory and optional extras. In this field they reflected: airport shuttle cost, a resort fee (which should normally cover all extra services provided by the hotel) and city tax. So, Imagine my shock therefore when I arrived at the hotel check in and was told I had to pay to use the spa, and the cost for this privilege was a whopping 32EURS per hour. How ridiculous, even a 7star hotel would probably charge that sort of amount for a day’s access, given you are already a guest at their hotel. To put it in context if you used the spa for 4hours, a typical usage time that would cost 128eurs, for 8hours 256eurs. Surely with that sort of amount spent on spa only, I could have checked myself into a top of the range boutique hotel in the centre of Prague. What made matters worse was the spa was tiny, a box room. I asked to see it, just so I could get my head around why they felt they could charge so much and it was so small, I wasn’t impressed. When I raised this with the hotel, highlighting this exorbitant fee isn’t mentioned anywhere in their advert, it feel on deaf ears. The rest of the hotel was basic at best. My advise if you want a decent hotel look elsewhere.

Beautiful with superb staff
Just a lovely stylish hotel with excellent service. The breakfast was lovely with traditional local dishes and plenty of them. The room was very spacious, with lovely decor and very clean. Would definitely recommend. The location of the hotel is a 15min tram ride out of the city but no problem as trams are very frequent. Don't be put of with the look of the area and try the local bars near the hotel.

Only the Breakfast let it down.
Nice little hotel that served its purpose for our trip. The breakfast was cold each morning which was a shame because it would have otherwise been tasty. Clean and quiet place to say, outside of the city with good links to central.

Friendly staff, good breakfast but old mattress
Location and staff very nice and breakfast was great! However, internet was not working and the mattress was quite old so it dipped in the middle (kind of "u" shape). This meant I could not really sleep that well. But these things are easily fixed :) Otherwise I had a great stay!

Good place to stay but by the railway line
15 minute tram ride to city centre, and tram stop is 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Only issue was the room was by the train line, and we had the window open for a while at night and the train horns were too loud

Good Hotel, Excellent Staff.
The staff all knew English and were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was of good quality and had a good selection each morning. My room was pleasant and clean with its own toilet and shower. The bed was very low to the ground which could prove to be awkward for the older generation among us. My room overlooked the train tracks and was noisy whenever the trains passed by unless you kept the windows closed, but even with them closed you would still hear them rumbling by. This could prove a problem if you are a light sleeper. Wenceslas Square was only about a 30 minute walk away, and from here I was able to walk to most of the sights in and around the Prague. I could have gotten the tram which stopped just a few minutes walk from the hotel entrance, but I prefer to walk. There are numerous tours and trips throughout the day being organised which normally start from the Old Town area, so you can easily pick and choose one or more depending on your budget and on the amount of time you have. Some trips are to areas outside the city and so take up a whole day while others are in and around the city. I went on a few trips while there, with the one to the Bone Chapel being the most unusual. I would advise getting a meal each evening before coming back to the hotel at one of the many restaurants in and around Wenceslas Square, because the selection of restaurants near the hotel was not as good.

Nice hotel but train line too noisy.
The hotel is located next to several train lines. It is extremely noisy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was excellent. Trams to the city were located only one block away as were restaurants and shops. Although advertised as block out blinds and ceiling fans, neither of these were in our room.

Worst experience I have had in Prague. They promised to send a taxi to pick us up and never did. We stood at the airport in the middle on the night for hour waiting for taxi before we arranged our own. Room was extremely noisey It was warm and stuffy and no AC in room people keep fighting and arguing in the night just beneath our window and we had disturbed sleep No one came to clean the room next day. The breakfast try and the leftover remained in the room until the night when we came back from sight seeing. Next day we requested to get it cleaned. They apologised and promise dot get it cleaned but we cam back late afternoon to find the room in same state. Some of the staff were helpful but they need to work hard as a team and be thoughtful of the comfort of the guest to improve this situation. Until then I will not recommend anyone to stay in the hotel

Lovely hotel, could have used Air-Con and probably is a must during summer but its a lovely hotel and the staff are great. It may feel in a bit of a deprived area but really its not that bad. Lovely place would stay again.... in winter... unless they give fans for the summer! :)

Simply perfect
It was perfect. The minute we got the the guest service agent gave us a welcome drink after a long trip and sat down and pointed out all of the best places for us to go to on the map. The room was great, free breakfast, airport shuttle and my favorite part...we only had euro's so they let us borrow money for a bus downtown. So amazing

We absolutely loved it! Everyone was so accommodating and very willing to make our stay a pleasant one. The hotel is also very close to the metro and getting anywhere was no problem at all.

I was totally dissatisfied due to following reasons: - Neighborhood : strangely situated adjacent to a railway hub and far from everything. - Air condition? No. It means in hot seasons you have to keep windows open all way and use fans then enjoy noise of trains in middle of night - Shower? Very low pressure - Internet? Does not works at all. Positives: - rooms/beds were clean - staff were polite - breakfast was okay

Nice suprise in Praha
The hotel is soprising: from out side it is a very un-unick, but when you get inside the spicial disine, the felling that the owners have grate respect to art in general and spacialy to music is Unusual and delightful .Especially we liked the night Receptionist MARTIN that hosted us in abutiful and funny way by playing' singing and telling us abut the Country.

Very good value. The hotel has friendly staff, generous breakfast, and laundry service for only 300 crowns per load. It's the perfect combination of location and price. It takes one tram ride on the 18, 6, or 11 to get into the city center (buy tickets in a alcohol shop or the machine at some stations with coins), and the ride is wonderful. The location is good for access to transport, and the area is very safe (lot's of shops and places to eat near), but it is on a backstreet where not so many police patrol so the reviews of break-ins to vehicles are probably true. Foreign cars are targeted in Prague. The parking in zone 4 is free though, so this is an advantage if you don't mind the risk. Just don't leave anything in view.

The pictures on Expedia are great.. the hotel not so much.. Does not look like the pictures and its in a sketchy area. The room we got was very plain and not like the pictures they show on the site. When we arrived most of the lights in the lobby were off... and the woman who greeted us was more of trying to sell us things then help us out.. she was pushy and overwhelming. We were on the 3rd floor and the heat was on full when we got into the room so it was extremely hot in our room.. after we turned off the heat and opened the window we discovered that the heat in the bathroom had a broken knob and could not be turned off. OVERALL very disappointed in this hotel.

A bit dissapointing
First of all, I don't know where did Nabucco get its 4 stars. I have been to much nicer 3-star hotels. The hotel is located in really deteriorated neighborhood and next to train tracks. The building is an old communal house converted into hotel. You can see that rooms have been renovated and the main room is ok, but bathroom was seriously lacking due to old equipment and interior. Room was very warm, which was good for my girlfriend, but for me it was like a sauna. All you could do was to open the window, but then you heard trains passing by. It has ok location in relation to the center as a starting point for a on foot trip. The service was really good and the bridge inside hotel was pretty cool.

Very good choice for a city break!
Nice comfy hotel for travelers with no great demands. Breakfast was average, no surprises. Our room was clean and spacious Hotel is located not very far from the old town (15 min tram ride) but the surrounding were not very pleasant. Staff is a real asset of this place - always very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel close to downtown.
Hotel needs air condition in the rooms. Breakfast had very poor selection. Mattresses on beds are very, very hard to sleep on. If you looking for quiet time, that hotel is situated close to downtown but on pretty noisy street and very close to train with noise all day and night.

Comfortable, clean, no major problems but was more what you would expect from a 3star than a 4 star hotel. The rooms are fairly basic and its not possible to secure the showers high enough to stand under (unless you happen to be about 4ft. ) Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Hotel staff friendly and polite. Location is OK and relatively near a tram stop but it still takes about 30mins to the city centre so not ideal if you want to pop in and out.

The hotel is a little away from the town center but with trams near by we had not problems to move around whenever we wanted to - trams are often and very reliable. The hotel was also very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. We had a great stay -Thank you!

Hotel nabucco is definately one of the best Hotels ive had the pleasure of staying at, the staff were wonderful the food was Great and it was only a 10 minute tram ride from town

The hotel is in a bad location , if your room is on the front you are kept awake all night by noise off trains we got a room change, breakfast is very poor, staff were very helpful in all matters, no tea and coffee making in room, overall I would not stop here again.

NABUCCO is something special
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and if you are ever visiting Prague we highly suggest if you are into small and friendly that you give this place a go. It is ten minutes from the city centre on the No 18 tram which runs every 5-7 mins. On your approach to the Hotel you may wonder what you have let yourself in fore as it is very much like any small city hotel in an urban area - However when you enter the hotel we are sure you will get the wow factor. The staff can not do enough to help and the intimate atmosphere of the place we are sure will call you back.

Nice, affordable and only minutes by tram to city
Great hotel for a last minute booking. Staff were quite excellent and provided a lot of information about how to get around and where we could go. Gratis breakfast was appreciated, room was smallish but big enough for the four of us (kids slept on the fold-out couch). Will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Prague. Very easy to get into the city, and the Hotel itself is located on a quiet street not far from a couple of tram lines. Nearby train station didn't cause as much noise as feared. Awesome to watch the sun come up over the east of Prague from the room with a fresh cup of espresso.

A great little hotel
Brilliant little very friendly hotel - Staff could not have done more to please and all were fluent in english. - Close to tram stop into town with trams every few minutes. Local shops and eating houses offer good value.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was rather spacious and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was adequate. The reason we wouldn't recommend the hotel is because of the location. There was a tram stop within walking distance however it was located quite far away from the main sites, attractions, cafes/restaurants. The hotel was also right next to the train line which you can hear throughout the night and morning. If you were looking for a budget hotel this would be great and very safe however if you want to be in a better location there may be a better option.

It was ok, but not as good as the reviews led me to believe. The location was ok, but certainly not in a great neighborhood. About a 15-20 minute walk to Congress Centre (but easy to get lost the first time). Tram stop is nearby. Hotel staff was polite and helpful, and they obliged pretty much any request we had. My room was never cleaned well, however. I stayed 6 nights and they never vacuumed nor even swept the bathroom floor. Breakfast was pretty good. Overall, it was ok for the price but I probably wouldn't stay again.
