Breakfast was not too varied but satisfactory. The way to hotel from the central train-bus stations is little tiring because of the climb. However it worths the pay, service was good. There is no water boiler in the rooms, that is a con, I think

I wouldn't go back.
The staff were great, they helped us information and directions. The room, on the other hand, was dirty. The bathroom had both pink and black mold. I had to clean the walls just to feel good in the shower. At night there were silverfish bugs running around the bathroom. I talked with the front desk but they couldn't really do anything about it.

Don’t expect too much
Everything was good. Just don’t expect too much on the condition of the rooms. It looks like a 90-100 yr old hotel room. I’m not sure how they get the 3 or 4 star with that kind of rooms.

Decent hotel not far from the train station.
I needed a place to stay in Prague while travelling for a quick work meeting, Gloria was conveniently located for a good price. The facilities are a bit older and the breakfast was average, but the service was good and the hotel was a good value for the money.

If you're looking for something cost-effective for one or two nights then this will work. It's walking distance to main station so that's a plus. But the property is quite old and the rooms could be cleaner. That said for the price and including free breakfast it's okay.

Great budget hotel
Great value, I paid less than £68 for 3 nights with breakfast over the weekend. Breakfast good, staff friendly, I would stay again. Tram stop 5 minutes away.

Great hotel - not so near the old city, but on the transit lines for easy access. Otherwise a great place to stay. Very helpful desk persons, and a hearty breakfast.

Walk to the hotel from the city feels abit ominous as you get a bit further out of town, but having stayed there a few nights, its safe, warm, actually very well positioned in the city. Very clean rooms and great breakfast, would definately recommend and would stay here again. Lovely popart bistro just up the road and metro station a short walk through the big tunnel, loved it.

There are only two cons about my stay. 1. The front desk female (Victoria, very nice and easygoing) could not locate my reservation in their system, might have been due to a miscomunication between the hotel and the third party. 2. There is an asphalt being placed outside the hotel, making the entrance slightly unappealing. The noise, however, is very mild. The rest: I have absolutely no complaints. Breakfast delicious, room clean, well equipped and well-maintained, personnel nice...

Nice hotel but not convenient
It wasn’t in a convenient location but I discovered the National Museum overlook that is a ten minute walk from there. That was nice, but the next night I rented a different hotel that was closer to the city sights and public transportation. The breakfast was super.

A bit out of the way
Although the websites say the hotel is close, it’s in a very poor and run down area, I wouldn’t recommend walking around the area at night. We stayed out and got a taxi back to the front door! We spent minimal time at the hotel due to it not looking like the pictures and staff not being amicable. I would suggest paying more and staying near the town centre with polite staff, better scenery and a cleaner experience.

The breakfast area and food was pretty good. The room was small and the bathroom needed repair (water damage, dirty grout, missing vent, cracked shower door, no fan in bathroom). The old side is location- is walkable to many bars, restaurants. Fairly close to trams.

The hotel is not modern and could use a bit more of TLC in the rooms. Our room was very spacious but the A/C and heating didn't seem to work. Breakfast is OK. There is a tram 5 minutes walking from the hotel door so it gets very easy to get any where (2 stops from the train station, 5 from old town). the neighbourhood is made from prague homes, people and pubs. and there are really nice pubs between the hotel and Zizhkov tower, a steepy climb worth doing at night if you'd like to go out for a drink outside the touristic areas.

I may have gotten food poisoning from the breakfast. I can't be sure, but within eight hours of having breakfast there, I was throwing up and in bed. Aside from (ahem) that, it was a good stay. My main complaint was my first night, a group of young men decided to party in their hotel room (in Prague? Why?!!!) keeping me awake until 1:00 pm. The second night was very quiet. I made a last minute reservation via hotels.com. They lost this at the front desk and I had to wait 15 minutes in the lobby while they --very diligently-- figured out what to do with me. I like the clean rooms. Street noise is minimal, but hall noise is pretty bad if you have inconsiderate neighbors as I did. The staff is indeed very helpful in that serious, no nonsense Czech way. Don't expect smiles and sweetness.

Nice Staff but hotel was not up to par
I check in and checked out immediately due to health issues the hotel room was not clean and had mold in the bathroom and there was a fume that irritated my respiratory system. The staff was great , helpful and supportive as I transition to the Corinthia Hotel.
