Best service in PraguePosted Jul 4, 2017
This is a lovely boutique hotel near the Prague Castle and Monastery with Library. Hotel personnel couldn't have been nicer, helping with changing money, getting cabs, finding directions, even had a supply of umbrellas for us. I'd go back!

Best Hotel ChoicePosted Jun 30, 2017
Pros: Location, decor, staff, breakfast.
Location: Castle, food, sight seeing.
I was exhausted by the time I got there, flying in from the US, and I was so impressed by the cordiality of the staff. The room was quaint but cozy. I sort of felt like a I was casual princess (on the 4th floor) overlooking the city of Prague. So close to the castle and great places to eat.

Hoyel on the hillPosted May 29, 2017
Overall OK but the hotel is located on the hill. Small lobby and not much place to sit. Breaskfast was good but no personal service. Room is overall clean but very small and with blocked view. The hotel is not in the middle of the city. Need to walk about 30 minutes or take tram/subway to get to the Old Town. Not sure if I want to stay there again.
Can't get any closer to the castlePosted May 17, 2017 on Hotels
Excellent hotel and location. Just be aware parking is limited on the street, and is not valet. You get a parking pass that you have to pay for, and the narrow streets are one-way. It is short 200m walk, half uphill to the castle. Nice views.

Wonderful hotel in relaxed Castle districtPosted Apr 28, 2017
I loved this hotel. I stayed for a day on my own before friends joined me and the hotel staff couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. They were equally so after my friends arrived, even going out of their way to drive us to a less busy entrance to the Castle on a wet and cold day. Rooms were excellent, as was the buffet breakfast which had hot cold, sweet and savory items cooked and presented to a very high standard.

3 Night break as a belated Honeymoon.Posted Apr 20, 2017
Pros: Location, quality of accommodation and friendly and helpful staff.
Location: Very close to Prague Castle, and Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square are within walking distance.
Picked Prague as it is a city neither of us had visited before and wanted to experience. We chose this hotel based on the Expedia recommendations and were not disappointed. Great location close to the castle, the hotel itself was clean and bright and was everything we could have asked for. The staff were exceptional, breakfast was included and provided a great selection to choose from.

Last day in PraguePosted Apr 16, 2017
It was a great conclusion to our trip to Czech Republic. The view from the room was fantastic, it's still in my mind. It was a different place in town from the beginning of our trip to Marianskie Lazne (we stayed in Prague on the way there and back), very different in vibes. The staff made our short stay very memorable and every detail was given attention. The breakfast was divine and our stay here sealed our beautiful memories about Czech Republic. Thank you Golden Star! You are Golden!

ScenicPosted Mar 19, 2017
Very nice/comfortable small hotel in a scenic part of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The staff are also wonderful--very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast prepared with variety every morning to get your sightseeing off on a good start. I would love to return again some day.
