Safe, secure, clean and friendly!

Posted Dec 21, 2016 on Orbitz
I would prefer that this hotel remain my secret, but that isn't fair. If you are confused about where to stay in Prague, then look no further. Hotel Kampa Garden is reasonably priced. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Clean, safe security locked entrance and rooms. Knowledgeable hotel staff 24 hours a day. They are prompt, friendly and helpful. Location is accessible to many places-near Charles Bridge. Room safes for valuables. Delicious breakfast every morning. Cons: I personally could have used more lighting in my bathroom- hardly worth mentioning.

Comfortable hotel with a great location

Posted Oct 3, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is strategically located near the foot of the Charles Bridge. It's so easy to get to all the places by just walking. The staff is very attentive and the rooms very comfortable.

Great hotel

Perfect location, close to great restaurants and Charles bridge. Free breakfast was great, lots of choices. Mini fridge stocked everyday with waters and beers for free. No a/c so I would probably not stay during summer. And shower very tiny, but fine for us. Would stay again for sure.

Great location but no Air Con!

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Pros: Location was about it.
Cons: AC and/or window screens and attention to cleanliness
Location: Charles Bridge not 100m away
Kampa is a beautiful location in Prague right off Charles Bridge with wonderful scenery and a park steps away. The hotel, like many other places in Prague, did not have air conditioning and the temperature in the room was 30+ C. All they provided was a fan. The windows could not be opened even though the night temperature was 15-20C because they had no screens. No screens = room full of mosquitoes. Also, the door frames were full of giant spiders in their webs!!! I guess they eat the mosquitoes?

Nice hotel close to Old Town

Posted Aug 12, 2016
Pros: Inexpensive, clean and modern room, great staff, location (close to Charles Bridge), breakfast included, free WIFI. Quiet, pretty neighborhood.
Cons: Nothing really.
Location: Close to Charles Bridge. Walk across and you're in Old Town. Hotel close to John Lennon wall & pub, Kafka Museum and many other things.
We spent a week in this modern hotel room, with everything you need including tasty breakfast (served in the basement) & free WIFI. The staff was lovely and very helpful. There is an elevator. Everything worked perfectly. Highly recommended.

Very good location, 2 mins from Charles bridge.

Pros: Very good location.
Cons: Clean carpet. Shutters on Windows to block out spot light. Mirror in room. Move fridge so you can get into bed easier.
Location: Loads
Staff great. Room v small - no room to get round bed on one side so had to climb across. No mirror in bedroom. Carpet grubby. Bright light shone through window all night so hard to sleep. V quiet though and fab city.
