Fantastic I am an Orthodox Jew and on our holy Sabbath I have special needs. I don't use electricity or turn on lights the staff of the hotel went out of their way in every aspect to help. May G-d bless them

The staff at this hotel is very friendly and polite, this hotel is clean, good location with public transportation very close to make your way around the city very simple. I'm a solo traveler and would recommend this place for anyone whom is visiting Prague, I would definitely stay here again.

The location was really good, very clean, nice bathrooms and towels. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice with a variety to suit most. I would definitely stay here again given the chance.

Lovely stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Allowed us to check in early and rooms were alwyas kept clean. Great breakfast with plenty of options. Good location to walk to centre of Prague. Would recommend to anyone

When we first got there, the person at the reception was not welcoming at all. It felt like we were bothering her right from the moment we went in. When asked about parking, she said there was nothing she could do about it. There wasn’t any parking and we had to figure it out on our own. When I told her I previously contacted the hotel and I was told we could park at one of their sister hotel, she rolled her eyes and made a phone call to arrange parking for us. She wasn’t friendly at all. Other staff members were amazing. Kind, helpful, friendly. The room was spacious. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. They need to be replaced with new mattress. It was two sleepless nights for our family we were so uncomfortable. We travel quite a bit around Europe and these beds were by far the worst we had in the two years. Throughout the hotel there is a very strong moldy smell. We had to keep all windows open in our room even though it was super windy. Shower was small and hard to control the water temperature. My kids struggled to wash themselves as it would be extremely hot or icy cold. Breakfast was good. Nice to have it included. Location is amazing. Walking distance to so many attractions, restaurants, etc. Unfortunately we wouldn’t stay again or recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for my colleague. We are very sorry that you were so dissatisfied with our hotel. For our clients in our hotel we always try to do everything as best as we can. The technical equipment of the hotel is currently being solved and will be improved. Mattresess are harder, it depends on preferences. Thank you also for some of your compliments.

Pleasant stay
The hotel isn't 4 stars it's more like 1/2 stars. The breakfast buffet was really nice but unfortunately in the basement.

Good price for the walking distance to center.
Older place larger open room. Bed too firm for me. We had lackluster greetings from staff. It's 20 plus minutes walk to the center. Costs for food has really gone up past 2 years and restaurants are adding service fees that I'm calling new tourist taxes. We went for Christmas markets they were just okay and very few store fronts decorated with lights. The historical architecture is stunning!

Clean, cozy and great location in one.
This hotel is in such great location! Trams are just a block and a half away and they will connect you to everything you'd want to see. The interior has such a warm cozy feeling, perfect for this winter season. The ladies at reception were lovely, quite cordial, and understanding given the fact that my mother in law (who's actually the guest) didn't speak English nor Czech. The room had all amenities you could need, and it was all pretty spotless. Breakfast had varied options, and the coffee was great! My mother in law had a great time, and felt safe in the area surrounding the hotel. Every time we went to drop her off it was like she was getting home. Very very recommended, it's a great option for Prague.

Excellent situated just outside of the city’s heart. Great restaurants and bars around and only a short walk into the hustle and bustle of the city. Loved it. Great staff too and was just what we needed.

It is perfectly located so you can walk / see Old Town. Trams get you everywhere. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Praha.

location is excellent. it is located between the main square and the charles's bridge area so it is very convenient depending which way you are going. about 10 minutes on either direction. my room 404 was clean and very big. breakfast was excellent and decorated very nice, good job to those ladies in the kitchen. there was always some one on the reception and my room was cleaned when i asked. i would return to this hotel again and will recommend it to my friends and family. good job prague 1.

We found the location of the hotel to be quite central for walking to many points of interest throughout Prague. The room we had was quite small with a very hard bed & pillows. The bathroom was also tiny, especially the round shower. However the breakfast buffet was outstanding every morning!

I stayed at Hotel praga 1 for 5 days . The staff here are very Good and are always their to help if they can resolve or help in any way. one example tea and coffee is provided in the room but no milk cream in the rooms just go to reception and they provide you with. nothing like a hot coffee or tea with milk in the later part of the evening. The Breakfast is Excellent and the team in the kitchen welcoming and provided me with answers to the food questions I had. If you love cakes your in for an Amazing surprise Delicious and Tasty 10 out of 10 for the Breakfast . Would i stay here again that's an Easy YES.

Good stay at praga 1 hotel
Our room was 1 double bed and one single bed. It was comfortable but single bed didn't have any light next to the bed so i couldn't read anything in bed. Breakfast was very good, and service at breakfast was excellent. Mostly one staff member Hanka was amazing. Front desk was very nice and polite but at check in a lady made a mistake and charged for my room in us dollars insted of Czech coronas and charged me 4.5% of exchange fees after telling her a few times not to do this. So please be careful about this. Location was very good, close to everything

Good location, friendly and professional staff. Reasonable breakfast selection. Shower cubicle was a bit small and Aircon could perhaps be updated as it seemed to have limited impact.
