Very satisfied !
The location of the hotel is excellent, the service is very courteous. Breakfast is rich and varied. The only problem is that there is no lift to the rooms (there is help of the personnel for the luggages).

Access to many different aspects of Prague
This was our first time to Prague for my wife and me. We took the metro into town; probably should have used a 30 Euro taxi or express bus to get into town for the first time since it was somewhat disorienting arriving by metro. The hotel entrance is located inside a courtyard of other establishments. Our room was on the third floor so a walk up the stairs since no lift. The staff was very helpful in every way. The breakfast was served by the restaurant across the street. It was an excellent breakfast ...well worth it. Reference the photo for a few other referrals.

Really good hotel
This is a very good hotel and the staff really made us welcome. Our only criticism (with the hotel and Prague Old Town) is that it is not wheelchair or pushchair friendly. However in the hotel the excellent staff were on hand whenever assistance was required.

Nice little gem
Stayed here November 2015 for few days not a large Hotel but It was very pleasant and in a Super spot in a little square .then two mins and you were in the hustle and bustle of the city .

Great location in a great place
We had a long weekend in august, great location in a small square just off the main centre in Old Town. Hotel was lovely, staff were helpful, just be aware that if you are staying in a suite, its on the top floor without a lift!! Also worth having a beer spa, which is in the basement- truly unique!!

We stayed with friends for one of them celebrating their 50th. Our room was perfect, large and comfortable. Unfortuantely our friends were put at the furthest point away from us in the hotel despite booking last October. Their room hadnt been cleaned properly either with signs of tobacco and talcum powder/drugs on the glass table. We spoke with reception who arranged for the room to be cleaned again and for them to move for the last two nights as the hotel was full the first. The breakfast was brilliant and got us all off to a good day. Apart from the initial mishap we enjoyed our stay and the location is perfect for almost everywhere.

Very close to all attractions
This hotel is in a lovely area, very close to everything it is about a 5 minute walk to the castle, clock and hard rock cafe. The hotel staff were polite on first arrival. I was under the impression I had booked a luxury apartment on the roof top. Once arriving this is not the case. When questioned this with reception the staff member was quite coarse stating it was pot luck to this room and not guaranteed. I was even willing to upgrade to this room at an extra expense. The receptionist just stated the room was booked and it was management fault. The deluxe apartment was nice with a memory foam bed, a separate living area and gorgeous bathroom with an amazing shower. The furniture looked dirty on first glance however it was quality items with aging decoration added. There is not a lift due to it being an older building however you do have help on your arrival. The taxi service was very good and would recommend booking your taxi service before hand a lovely Audi awaited us.

Very nice hotel. Close to everything.
I Travel a lot but will not book any future travels through Expedia as they were not willing to exchange a day on the end of my hotel stay for another day which would have not cost them anything and would have made my stay much more convenient. Consequently, I lost one nights stay at around $120.00. Thank you Expedia for working with me!!

Nice hotel just off Old Town Square Prague.
Prague was enchanting. Had a fabulous week away. After a busy day walking and sight seeing there were plenty of amazing restaurants to visit. We were pleasantly surprised at the exceptional food, all at unbelievable prices.

A lovely hotel to stay in
The hotel is in the centre of Prague, within easy walking distance of the river and all the main attractions. The staff are friendly and efficient. Our room was very comfortable, with a huge bed. It was the most characterful hotel room ever with a painted, beamed ceiling and frescos on the walls.

Very well located accommodation; and good quality. From time to time there was some noisy pedestrian traffic and garbage collectors. Good access to the services and food in the old town. Friendly reception staff. Reception staff had good knowledge of tours but no knowledge about art and art exhibitions. Breakfast at the restaurant linked to the accommodation was satisfying.

The hotel is on historic Ungelt courtyard.
Old building with historic character maintained (renovated) but modern amenities added. Ideal situation for old town exploration. The included buffet breakfast is across the street in a medieval cellar. Staff ( English speaking) was very responsive in ordering taxis, setting up tours, exchanging money, giving directions, and helping use the room safe.

Romantic Hideaway
Two great and unexpected surprises occurred on this romantic getaway: Our flight back to the States was unexpectantly and without our asking upgraded from Coach to First Class; and, the hotel we chose, The Metamorphis was perhaps the best hotel I've stayed in and I have traveled around the world including Asia and South America just last year sans air transport. Took me 3 months and I did it solo writing 20,000 words per day which parts were published. I highly recommend The Metamorphis and will always book my stays in Prague there. It was almost too good to believe!

The hotel is in a very good location for touring and has both the old charm of Prague and some modern conveniences. We were there in November. The air conditioning was off and there are radiators for heat that you can regulate. The windows also open easily but keep in mind that you will hear the outside noises especially on the weekend. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Another issue to keep in mind depending upon age, health and fitness. is the number of stairs to climb to your room. The staff carries the luggage but if your room is on the higher floors, you must be able to handle the stairs. Breakfast is offered each morning and there are many choices. The hotel worked out perfectly for us.

Very centrally located...
Nice hotel, wonderfully located in Old Town....having ability to be SO close and walking around at night afforded us a chance to see the illuminated buildings. Staff was very friendly, allowing us to check in early as there was a room available. The free breakfast that was included provided a wide variety! This is rated as a 5 star hotel, with 5 star service, although clean, I felt the carpets were very worn and needed to be replaced. Aside from that, I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Perfect Spot!
Staff were incredibly friendly - room was spacious and had a bit of a country-charm to it. The location was perfect - right by the Tyn Church and Old Town Square. For our first time in Prague it was perfect! Included breakfast was excellent and in a neat little basement in a restaurant across the street from the hotel. Would definitely return!

We had a lovely 3 room suite with a huge shower and jacuzzi tub. Breakfast was good at Ristorante VaBene across the street (included). Location was very convenient to the historic center. We stayed at another Prague hotel which was more attractive in the public areas but the rooms were very small.

Rooms were huge, we had a big balcony with a view of Tyn cathedral. It was right smack in The Old Town Square, thus very easy to walk to the sights. There's a great Italian restaurant nearby called Roma which served the best pizza I ever tasted. Breakfast was served in an ancient cellar and quite decent. Service was also great and we had our room upgraded for no reason.

If you don't mind the exercise of climbing a few flights of stairs, room 831 of this boutique hotel offers a long courtyard balcony with an awesome view of the Tyn church steeples. Pretty quiet stay, despite New Year's Eve fireworks until 4am. Spacious room, over 350 sq. feet. Breakfast buffet adequate even for the non-carnivorous! Maitrea, Best vegetarian restaurant in town within 500 meters - offers a great selection of veg. meals including veg. versions of Czech specialties, e.g. svickova!

Hotel Metamorphis Excellent - Authentic Atmosphere
This hotel is in Old City, a wonderful location to experience Prague. It is close to the metro, restaurants, and shops. Everything in Prague is within walking distance., but this location is particularly great, in the center of it all. The hotel rooms are large, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The included buffet breakfast is really a great way to start the day, fruit, yogurt, danish, and some authentic food items..very good. The staff at the hotel was great as well, friendly and accommodating. All in all, a great choice.

Location, location, location! A stones throw to the old town square. I booked a suite and would highly recommend upgrading if you can. With the suite you get a massive room with throat biggest bathroom I've ever seen with a walk in shower room and jacuzzi bath. The suite also had a massive bed very comfy. I did to see the deluxe room which was quite nice too. There is no lifts and 2 flights of stairs but we didn't find that a problem. staff carried our cases from both on arrival and leaving the hotel. Staff courteous and friendly. overall i would recommend. Location could not be better and this hotel offers something unique.

Hotel Metamorphis Excellent in Prague
Couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in, the reception staff went out of their way to help us, I had to ask for another room because I was too small to see in the mirrors in the room I was allocated, I was given the keys to 2 other rooms and asked to pick which one I wanted. They also arranged for us to check out late with no extra charge. The breakfast was great, something for everyone, hot and cold buffet!! Location of the hotel was excellent I would definately stay here next time I vist Prague!! Beds were comfy and pillows were good and that's something I usually man about hotels (rubbish pillows). Also Hotel restuarant food is great we ate there on our last day waiting on the bus to take us to the airport.

Metamorphis - old town Prague
The Metamorphis is a small hotel located centrally close to old town in Prague. It is a 'hidden gem' that is situated among cafes and shops in one of the passage streets. They have a friendly staff and relatively large rooms that are modern with much surrounding charm. A very large breakfast is included at the restaurant across the street, which itself is very unique (the eating area is in a former beer/wine cellar). Places like the astronomical clock are very close to walk to. The price was good, relative to other hotels in the area along with free LAN and Wi-fi, which many hotels like the Marriott charge outrageous fees for.

Old world charm; modern amenities.
Our hotel room was far bigger than I expected. We had a huge living area, a foyer sitting area, and a very large bathroom with whirlpool tub and large shower. The staff was always very helpful. There is a computer with Internet access in the lobby that is avilable 24 hours a day, plus the rooms are equipped with WiFi. The restaurant was across the street, but the hotel is in an area where there is little traffic, so it was no big deal. The food was good enough that we decided to eat there several evenings, as well as the provided breakfast. We like to walk and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see in the city. We were about three minutes from the astronomical clock, so went to see it strike the hour three times. Although it is an older hotel, it certainly deserves its 5 star rating. There are no elevators, but we did not mind the walk up to our third floor room.

Best Location
This was the best location in Prague tucked in a beautiful courtyard close to all the attractions. Only prob is there is no elevator. But they help with the bags if you ask. Staff was very helpful.
