Good value hotel on the outskirts of Prague

Posted Sep 28, 2016
Pros: Price, an easy drive to the airport (c15 miles away), car parking available.
Cons: Poor lighting in the bedroom - higher wattage bulbs and a reading light by the bed would have helped. Breakfasts limited - more fruit, boiled eggs...
Location: Situated on the outskirts of the city, although the public transport is quite good.
A good value hotel on the outskirts of Prague. Breakfast a bit limited. Pillows rather soft for our taste.

I did not like it at all

Posted Jul 30, 2015 on Hotels
Not a nice hotel, no aircondition in the rooms and temperature was almost 30*, there's a TV & fridge that doesn't work, the second night there was no hot water on the day we checked out there was no water at all, breakfast buffet very poor and bread not fresh.

Good stay, just a little far away

Posted Jun 4, 2015 on Hotels
It was a nice hotel. It is a little ways off from the sights and city center, but call ahead to get the best information about how to get there from the airport or train station. The visitor's bureau sent us on a 45 minute journey to get to the hotel, but the hotel staff gave us a bus and train route that took only 25 minutes. The staff was extremely helpful as well. Although, nearby was a questionable looking neighborhood, but it did not seem to be a problem.

Really nice place

Brilliant hotel staff helped us to get around everywhere. Even gave us a free bottle of wine on New Years. Easy public transport to centre of town from there, 138 bus to skalka metro A, then in from there. Quiet bar on site for a nightcap, modestly priced restaurant onsite with hearty food. Nothing fancy but exactly what's needed. Breakfast included is a little bland but could be worse. Walls are a little thin too. Will return happily in the summer.

Overall a nice hotel with a good restaurant. The room was huge with two double beds.General accessibility for a wheelchair is good but the bathroom doors are very narrow and large wheels need to be removed.

Value for the money

Overall, it is a economical choice of accommodation in Prague. Pros: price, quiet place. Cons: breakfast very light by local standards, need to drive to down town, hot water problems one day out of three that stayed there.
