A quiet, exceptionally clean hotel offering a tranquil stay. In my opinion this is more of a couples hotel as there is no area for children to play nor a separate children's pool.
We were lucky to book a seaview room with a large terrace and sun loungers included. This gave us the relaxing break we hoped for. The air conditioning was a little temperamental at times and there were no tea and coffee facilities in our room. However these were only slight inconveniences and we made the best of what we did have as our room was very comfortable, and had an excellent rainfall shower.
The buffet breakfast offered a good selection of cold dishes and hot drinks, and the staff in the breakfast room were friendly.
Andrea, the lifeguard, was quite a character and recommended places to eat and best transport options. He demonstrated high standards and kept the pool area clean and tidy, as well as providing pool side snacks and drinks, and good background music. Pool towels provided free of charge.
Rosa on reception made us feel very welcome, had good local knowledge and was more than happy to offer advice on bookings and places to eat or places of local interest. In my opinion, she takes an active interest in all residents and likes to ensure that residents have a good customer experience at Hotel Il Pino.
Special thanks to all the hotel staff for making our stay here so good, and especially Vincenzo, who indulged me in my quest to improve my Italian.
Highly recommend Hotel Il Pino
