Very nice hotel/apartment. Me and my mum stayed for buisness and we had very good service and kindness people. Recommend for every kind of visit. Prato is a very cozy city and the location of the Residence was perfect, close to restaurants, cafe, shops.

Excellent stay - great location, comfortable rooms

I was in Prato for a conference at Monash University. I booked this hotel because it is so close to the University. My morning commute was all of two minutes. Good wifi in the rooms, the apartment was huge and well furnished. Great for a group staying for more than a couple of days. The kitchen was well equipped. Only problem was shower head that didn't work properly, but I also couldn't be bothered to ask for it to be fixed. Lots of bars right around the corner and a nice lively feel in the evenings (though not too loud or lively). I wish I could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the amenities in the apartment. If I were ever to go back to Prato I would definitely look into booking this place again. Also very close to Prato train station (walkable from central station, but there is also a closer one that is even more convenient - it's the stop after the central station when coming from Firenze)

Excellent location for monash university

Pros: Character and location
Cons: More plug adapters. Easier key workings
Location: A few bars but very "local". This didn't seem to be tourist area although it would, be possible to get to Florence easily
The apartment block was quaint and traditional Tuscan. It was difficult to get in outside office hours Monday to Friday, but the phone numbers were posted on the window. Keys were tricky to use, but I felt very safe in ether block and in the area. I was in prato on business but would have no hesitation in taking my family back

Nice appartment in the centre of town

Pros: Clean and modern.
Cons: Given its location, nothing!
Location: In the centre of historic Prato. Lots of activity with bars and restaurants. Off the beaten tourist track so a really genuine taste of Italy.
Very clean, modern and comfortable when you finally get in there. Expedia should inform customers that the reception desk is normally only manned for about 6 hrs on weekdays (I think from 9.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 1800) and not at all at weekends. Phone numbers are provided for visitors who arrive at other times and/or to inform of estimated times of arrival. This is quite clearly labelled on the entrance gate. Otherwise, entry is impossible. The speed of response to our call on arrival on a Saturday afternoon was very quick (10 mins) and courteous - so no complaints there! The other comment is that, being in the centre of an old town, access by car is via a network of very narrow one way streets that really ought to be completely pedestrianised. Easy to find on foot, but a nightmare by car without expert local knowledge - but, again, the staff stepped up to the mark and accompanied me in driving to the hotel from a more major street nearby. The hotel also provides a free parking permit so you can leave your car in the narrow street right outside the hotel. Probably less hassle to come by train - the station is only 5 mins walk away!
