Very decent hotel. Of course you pay for it and at this price tag you expect the best services premises and experience. It was good for an hotel that is not in its prime youth. Not exceptional but not terrible. A good choice with well trained staff which is not so common in Thailand.

the best part of the complex is the INFINTI bar and restaurant and also the best staff work there on our visit We found alot of areas not properly cleaned around the property inc the outside floor of the main restaurant, the air con units were dust filled and plates left outside the floor we stayed on for 2 days ..... The beach is small and private as advertised but no see\a access which isnt mentioned 5 star not yet but a good 4 star

Following our recent visit to the Intercontinental Pattaya we wanted to write and let your team know how much we enjoyed our recent stay and to thank all the staff who made out time at the hotel so special. From our seamless airport pick up to the welcome drinks and greeting at reception it was the start of a very special stay. Everyone from shuttle driver to housekeeping, provided a service that was excellent, delivered with a smile with all personnel committed to the hotel residents. The service in the club lounge was exemplary with staff showing awareness and thought when dealing with residents and ensuring the very best service was experienced by the residents. However, I am going to leave my biggest praise for Martin (Executive Chef) and his team who made our anniversary one of the very best. Martin showed a keen interest in all diners, however for us he offered to design a menu for our evening meal that also included a cake. This was a truly memorable experience that we shall never forget and have every intention of a return visit.

One member of our party got severe food poisoning from the hotel. There was nowhere else we ate as we went to Pattaya to lie by the pool and ocean. It came from their shrimp! We were told nobody else was ill however when our pills were dropped off from the pharmacy lots of other bags were with ours. I was told at the club lounge that the weekend prior many people had food poisoning but only my daughter this time! It was so severe it caused 14 vomits in 24 hours and 3 days of pretty bad illness and abdominal pain. We were even charged then$100 US for the dinner that caused the food poisoning which I thought was the icing on the cake ! The manager was going to get back to us but that did not happen. This resort is not for anyone with any mobility problems but is very pretty built on a hill and the suites are very nice with large soaker tubs etc Lastly, it turns out Pattaya is the sin city of Asia and is packed full of street ladies and old men with young girls so we will not be returning!

Everything at the hotel was fantastic. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Shower water pressure isn't sufficient and water flows rather slowly.

Staff were very friendly, room was amazing and cleaned and serviced everyday. If you are in a club intercontinental room you are entitled to club lounge afternoon savouries and sweets and also inclusive drinks at happy hour. Breakfast is extensive with huge amounts of choice. Not the facility for you if you are in a wheelchair, many many steps from room to pool but the main hotel roads do have a free buggy service. Lifts available in main building and restaurants. Staff service is top class and attentive. Room service is not cheap though so pop down town to a supermarket and stock up on "personal beverages". Minibar was very expensive too so check the prices first

Disappointing. Very old resort with very average service. not baby friendly, no changing facilities anywhere!! Broken unsafe high chairs and no way to walk around the resort with a stroller, because of all the stairs and different levels. I chose this place based upon it being a family friendly hotel… was very difficult to get around anywhere. Was not impressed considering the cost.

The property is absolutely beautiful but the staff and service is a bit sub par. In general, we found the staff to be less than friendly and unhelpful. Two notable incidents come to mind, the first being we asked front desk staff if our child could play in the playground and they said yes. A few minutes later a staffer in the kids center came and yelled at us to get out. I found that bizarre- why can’t my child play in a playground with two parents supervising? The last is I bought a meal package that covered breakfast and dinner. However at checkout they charged me full price for all meals. It took an hour of back and forth and finally I just paid the full bill. There was one guy working in the lobby and there were dozens of people trying to check in and get help so I just felt bad and paid. I’ve traveled across Thailand and this is the first negative experience I’ve had.

atmosphere is good and eco, despite the room condition show many marks of ages, hope it'll be renovated soon. Difficulties found on rain shower and flushing on toilet other than that is good function but don't expect for high tech equipment as mentioned above, hope to get it renovated soon.

Worst Hotel
close to the ocean, but it was not beach. Swimming pool is beautiful but no shade and ocean view. facilities was not bad. but service mind of staff was extremely terrible..we booked 2 night. it was nightmare for me. we used club lounge and staff told us keep silent even thogh there were no customers but us. we were forced to pay 1 night or leave the hotel right away at 10 pm. All of hotel staff treat us criminal, they called police and force me to pay one night. Security manager came to us treat me bad person and told me get ou of the hotel. i did't force anybody in the hotel. we asked check CCTV which we really did harassment to the staff. They treat me very uneducated and unbehaviored person. It was the most terrible moment of using the hotel in my life.Theynever listen to customers. They only listen to staff and take care hotel staff even with police. They ruined my holiday in Pattaya. They did't appologize at all. Next day, we moved to Hilton Pattaya. it was better choice. I will never use Intercontinental Hotel pattaya again. If you go to intercontinental Pattaya, please remember you may be forced to obey hotel staff.
