First, the good news: The pricing was decent compared to other places in the area. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. The view was also very nice - we received an upgrade to a suite since we booked through Expedia, so we were moved to a room with a nice view. The resort is located less than 10 minutes from Whiskey Row, so it's very close to shopping and restaurants. Room service breakfast was pretty good, but we had wanted to eat in the resort restaurant. There was no staff there, so we went back up to our room to order food. We were told they were short on staff at the moment. The front desk worker was very pleasant though.
The not so good news: We had issues with both of our key cards working at our door the entire time - they said they were having issues with their cards lately. The lighting in the rooms was awful, some of the lights didn't work at all, and in one lamp, the bulb fixture had come loose and was sitting sideways, almost disconnected. The outlets were minimal and in inconvenient places. The ceilings were cracked and the carpets were loose and very old. There were cobwebs by the elevators, and the whole place seemed outdated and could use a little freshening up.
All in all, we had a "not terrible" stay here, but we won't book here again.
