The hotel cancelled my reservation as I was sitting in my truck in their parking lot, 38 minutes before check-in at 2pm. I will copy paste the message below. Also I have called expedite no less than five times trying to get my money refunded. And I am still trying. So DO NOT go to this hotel. The manager/owner was waiting for me to leave nearly an hour and one-half before check-out time in the shared/common area, including the kitchen area. The lighting had nearly half of the light bulbs burned out. The shared bath room had very dim lighting making it difficult to see.

The location is the best! Easy to walk all around Minocqua from this hotel! We had a great time. Breakfast was good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, donuts, toast, and more items.

Everything was spotless in the room and bathroom! Beds very comfy! Pool was warm and hot tub just right! Staff very polite and helpful! Breakfast buffet was great!
