Dalvay is a wonderful early 20th century cottage with fabulous ambiance. We appreciated it's closeness to the Atlantic Ocean, it hiking trails and comfortable accommodations. We highly recommend it.
Internet is slow in cottage, but once you are in Office is ok to work. Not enough food in breakfast , and no people to refill . All other is good.
No crowds, although many estblishments were closed due to off season, especially ice cream venues and don't expect to find a restaurant open after 8 pm. The proprietor was helpful and friendly. We hope to come back and will definitely stay at North Rustico Harbour Inn!
Was up for a weekend to play golf before the season ended. Great location and clean, comfortable room. Not a whole lot going on as Cavendish is a summer destination and pretty much shuts down after the September long. Decent food options about 10 mins up the road in Rustico however. If you're looking ...
Nice size rooms. Clean rooms. Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Have to drive to most things. Really not much within walking distance.
We were booked in the Inn and wanted a bigger space, they gave it to us no problem
While it was a bit rustic / old fashioned, the room was a good size and comfortable, the staff were very wonderful, the breakfast was decent for what was previously describe and the location was great. It was quaint and I would recommend it again.
Very friendly, beautiful setting, great food! We would have loved to try the golfing but no time on this trip. Would love to go back and take advantage of golf packages offered.
Fabulous little place, authentic island experience.. beach was quiet and amazing/-- we will be back again
This is a wonderful Inn for peace and quiet. It is "off the beaten path" but close enough to some fantastic restaurants and points of interest to be just right to get away. Dave the owner could not have been more accommodating or helpful. The Inn is bright and cheery and you feel right at home. This ...
Fantastic facilities close to all amenities and very well maintained. Price was just right for what we got and didn't need to bring anything from home for cooking purposes. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly.
We were greeted by Gary who offered us an upgrade to a suite in the second house, which we were delighted with. The rooms were tastefully decorated in keeping with the original house but also provided all amenities - including an ingenious wooden ironing board disguised as a cupboard! The bed was ...
I've stayed at many cabins over the years and found this one to be top notch. The owners have taken care of the building and it felt secure, warm and solid with no musty smell that you can get with a cabin. The decor was done with care with some modern clear window coverings and bed linen's. The ...
Swept Away Cottages was the best place I ever stayed at and I stayed at a lot of places in my travels. It was clean, comfortable, relaxing and beautiful. I reccomend these Cottages to everyone....❤️
I honestly cannot recommend this place enough! We needed a place to stay in the Rustico/Cavendish area, and we found this gem by a fluke - and it's one of the only places open after the season ends. And it's AMAZING! The cottages are roomy and super comfortable. The location is lovely! The owner ...
Our host couldn't have done more to make our stay as comfortable as possible. He took a genuine interest in our visit and wanted to do all he could to make sure we were well looked after.
Room was very cold when we arrived so turned on the heat to warm up the room then the heat stuck on and we could not get it to turn off or turn down so room got way too hot and made for a very uncomfortable sleep and had to open a window in the middle of the night just to get some sleep. Other then ...
Cottages in a beautiful location with ocean views. Close by to attractions like the Anne of Green Gables Museum and Green Gables National Historic Site. Owner of cottages and staff are extremely friendly. Lots of space for children and families. Highly recommended.
