The hotel was wonderful . After Expedia mucked up a change in the reservation, the hotel staff kindly rearranged things .

Located a walk away from most of Charlottetown. Downtown is 5-10 minutes walk away and the water isn't much further either.

Don't go for the breakfast

It was a pretty basic standard room for the price. Overall the room was fine - nothing great. Staff were good. The breakfast was terrible. They spent the least possible money on every item offered. Was it powdered eggs? Muffins - tasteless and previously frozen. Fruit offered was beat up oranges and apples. Sausages - inedible. The only thing half decent was the make-it-yourself waffles. There was only one of these machines so it was hard to get a waffle without a long wait.

The hotel met expectations, but I was hoping there would be a work out area, but there wasn't. There was a free offer to gym, but it was to far from the hotel for convenience.

Good location, good value

We found this hotel to be an excellent value overall. The price was good and it is walking distance to all the best restaurants in Charlottetown and downtown landmarks. Very clean and comfortable, very pleasant staff and an adequate buffet breakfast.

Decent price especially for such a great location.

Arrived early on a Sunday evening. Check in was easy. We asked if there was an open liquor store nearby. The guy behind the desk took the time to look it up. Unfortunately, there was nothing open but he did sell us a bottle of red wine for $20 to bring to our room. This was a BONUS! Breakfast was continental and was very good. The girl kept filling the buffet on a regular basis. Everything was fresh and hot. We went sightseeing the next day and were able to check out and leave our car there for the day as we walked the downtown core.

Just a few comments.. When we checked in after 3PM, our room was not available yet, which was OK.. I asked how long it would be and his response was I don't know. So we went to dining area and I confirmed he would let us know when it was ready. I was there long enough for a drink, My friend went to the counter to ask again about our room and he said it was ready.. He did not let us know. Saying this, later in the evening and next day the staff was lovely.. Very nice & helpful. The only thing I would comment negatively on our room was the pillows Not comfortable enough for me. All else was great! Thank You

Easy to walk to waterfront, etc.

The hotel is older but the linens are new and the rooms have modern decor. The bathrooms and elevator are older but clean. The mattress wasn't my preference but wasn't bad. The breakfast is pretty good. Some fruit would be nice, but it was wonderful that they had gluten free bread on request! Victoria Row, the waterfront, Province House, etc. are extremely close. We only used the vehicle to get to Green Gables and Cavendish Beach.
