Hotel Is Dated But Comfortable, For The Most Part

Posted Jan 18, 2017
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating at checking and checkout. They were great to get us anything we needed during our stay.
Cons: New pullout couch would be a huge asset. One that people can sit comfortably on. Sitting was torturous..I can't imagine sleeping on it.
Location: The motel is outside of the city but on a busy road almost directly across from the airport. It is reasonably quiet despite it's closeness to road.
Our room was comfortable but seemed like it hadn't been updated in many years. The pullout couch was uncomfortable to sit on and looks to have been at least 30 years old. We couldn't sit on it as it was hard and very uncomfortable. The only really modern thing about the room was the flat screen tv...although the hotel does not have HD channels so the tv is kind of useless as the tv shows are about 2/3 of the size of the screen and are blurry in Standard Definition. The bed was reasonably comfortable although the mattress was old and the springs made noise whenever we moved in the bed. The bathroom/shower was quite nice. Shower is modern. The white towels/facecloths had some stains on them. We enjoyed our stay and the motel was comfortable and warm. It's a bit older/dated that what we'd expect for the price we paid.

motel room first offered was old, run down

Posted Nov 9, 2016
Pros: Quiet
Cons: Motel has long term guests and the room offered us was run down and smelled.
After complaining about the condition of the motel room which was shoddy, we paid a little extra to stay in the hotel area. . carpets were dirty, but bathroom and beds appeared clean. It is in a quiet area even tho it is across the road from the airport. FYI--A taxi for one KM.charged 20.00.

Pros: Close to airport. About 1 minute away! Room clean and basic with a bar fridge.
Cons: Halls smelled like cigarette smoke but NOT the room.
Location: 15 minutes to downtown with fabulous restaurants

Worst place to stay

Posted Oct 17, 2016 on Hotels
Very incomfortable bed and place stunk like an ash tray. Wifi does not work, cable does not work. Tv did not work properly. Toilet ran the entire time. Very unsightly tourquios chairs. The kitchen did not include a toaster for preparing breakfast. Very small room. Dark hairs in the bathtub, no telephone in room, only a payphone outside.

Convenient to downtown

Cons: Attitude
Manager/owner at front desk not very pleasant. Upon my questioning him if we would have a kitchenette, he bluntly responded I would get what I paid for. The room was very dimly lit.
