All good hotels in major metro areas are overpriced but, given that, this was a decent value for a hotel with the charm of an older hotel but with renovated room, lobby and common areas.
Front desk clerk was surly. Not helpful, told me the shuttle bus was "booked" making me get my car out of valet parking to meet family member at train station while shuttle bus sat empty in parking lot. Room was clean comfortable but small. Elevator out of order. Exercise room in basement, windowless ...
The water pressure in the hotel was so low, it felt like i was not even taking a shower, and if i used soap, it would not even wash off, also the heat control of the room was awful.
I was there on business but at the end of the day, combing back to Jacob Hill Inn was a wonderful, relaxing experience. Every detail and need was met with graciousness by Eleonora and Bill from the moment of my arrival until my departure including written directions, suggestions for restaurants and ...
A beautiful house located in a really nice neighbourhood. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Owners and staff are very friendly. Breakfast served early was also a big plus :) Would book again if going back to Woonsocket.
I loved the building and the room/bed was cozy and stylish. The location was good for me too as I was basically there for a 24 hour layover. The bathroom smelled bad (like someone had just used it). The breakfast was pretty lousy, probably the worst omelette I've had. And a few hours before I had ...
Small (ok, tiny) boutique-y, but unlike any place I've stayed before. Great coffee bar and the barista is awesome. Rooms are tiny (mine had bunk beds) but they were ridiculously comfortable and had everything I needed. It was not a honeymoon suite though, by any stretch. But, they do have rooms with ...
Loved the location of the hotel. Easy access to downtown Providence, valet parking was great. The kids loved the pool and room service. Overall, a great place to stay.
I have been coming to this Hotel since it opened and I'm never disappointed. If anything they have become better every time we visit. They had a large wedding plus Brown college had a program that week end add Columbus day and most hotels would have been stretched to the limits they handled the volume ...
Our host Walt was super friendly and welcoming. The room was quaint and typical of a b&b but what really stood out here was the breakfast. You would normally pay around $35 at a restaurant for the type of breakfast they give you here. Delicious, home-made food which leaves you feeling like you should ...
This is a really nice hotel with exceptional hospitality. The staff makes an effort to know every guest by name and try to make your stay special. The facilities and the views are magnificent. The atmosphere is one of equal parts history, luxury and class. It may cost a little more, but you leave ...
The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding my room and recommending places to eat. The room itself was ok; the bathroom is small but functional, the bed was comfortable but the room could use some updates in regards to cleanliness of walls and ceiling vents. Overall you get what you pay for ...
Our second stay in Providence, first time here. Hotel is near good restaurants, shopping and I-95. Rooms and hotel are in great condition and seemed recently updated. The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous for the most part. The in-hotel "store" is meh, but it's a short walk to CVS or ...
Room with king bed was very spacious and had two great vanities. The indoor/outdoor pool was beautiful even though it is fall, we sat outside on a nice sunny afternoon. Bar in the lobby was better than most we've seen. 5 minutes from the even we were attending. Definitely recommend.
