close to airport

Very disappointed because you said they had shuttle service 24/7 and they actually stop at 11. We landed at 11:06 and had to take a taxi to the hotel.

You get what you pay for

Pros: The staff
Cons: Everything else.
This La Quinta is about five to ten years overdue for a refresh. The hotel is run down a bit and needs a higher standard of cleanliness and services. It is pet friendly, which is great if you're traveling with animal companions, but one guest left their dog alone in their room while out and it barked for close to 24 hours straight. Also, the television wasn't working and the front desk said it was due to weather. That made sense but it still didn't work when the weather cleared. If you need to stay in the area there are better choices for about the same price.

Outdated

Ordered a non-smoking room, which smelt like someone had been smoking in it for two solid days. Everything seemed just outdated.

Convenience

Location: Definitely need a car although public transport can be accessed via the airport which can be reached using the hotel shuttle
The hotel was friendly enough but typical of a 'transit' hotel Room was comfortable and over all good value for money

Everything was great

Pros: Location was great for us. Also allowing a dog without any fee.
Cons: Stocking the breakfast room, learn to make coffee
Location: We were 6-7 minutes from the Rhode Island Convention Center, and the rest of downtown Providence
We had a dog with us and LaQuinta was perfect. Our room was as expected-clean, good temperature control, quiet. The weak spot was the breakfast-coffee tasted burnt, The breakfast room was very crowded and food was not restocked as needed. Only knives were available,for example. Staff did eventually restock but we were on a schedule.

Not the best place

Location: Hotel was fairly close to the airport and had a great restaurant across the parking lot. Honestly the restaurant made the whole experience ok.
Location was good, staff was nice. I entered my first room and it smelled like a strong chemical/cleaner. I ask if I could move to another room and the person at the front desk said was very nice and moved me, however the second room smelled like someone had just finished smoking. The room was clean but not very exciting.
