Overall, a nice hotel, well located in a very good area. Decent breakfast, friendly staff, elegant rooms, comfortable beds at a very competitive price. However, the sound proofing is terrible and the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. I was first put in a room next to reception, in front of the elevator. I could hear conversations at reception and the constant ballet of people with their wheeled travel bag. 30 min after checkin, I asked if there was another room available with no success. Tried again an hour later and bingo, there was another room available on the 1st floor. Sound issue was better though the walls of this room were paper thin. I could hear one neighbour showering and coughing. The other neighbours chatted one night until 2 am at a low level but could still hear them. It’s really a shame that they did not put any money in minimum sound proofing. I would probably never stay again just because of the sound issue. I wish I could give a good review but the noise was a real issue
