Felt as though we were staying in a friend's house

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Pros: Very pretty, slightly outside the heavy tourist area around the Cathedral
Cons: Sound proofing as the noise from neighbours running a bath was a bit loud.
Location: The Cathedral Palace Gardens Bull ring and shops all within 15-20mins walk. Hotel booked us a cab to amazing Ittalica, he waited for us only 50Euros
Beautiful building, comfy seating areas and library, fresh fruit freely available to guests.Very clean, all staff attentive, polite and helpful. Rooftop pool a must as it was so hot, great way to wind down after a day sightseeing, good bar snacks, room service and dining room menu.

Don't be fooled.

Posted Oct 4, 2015 on Hotels
This is an expensive chain hotel with little regard for their guests, disguised as a quaint and charming spot. Don't be fooled. This could be a very nice hotel, however, it is very expensive for what it is, I would not recommend it. After staying in another Hospes chain hotel, it seems that the Hospes chain is really just to make money considering the outrageous price of our tiny room here, 25 euros for parking (when the website says "self-parking" and nothing about a surcharge), 22 euro breakfast buffet, and incredibly expensive massages. Our room was tiny, with a small double bed, barely any room to put a suitcase or walk around and a very small window on to the courtyard, which provided little to no lighting. For a $200/night room, this was ridiculous. Check in also took FOREVER. We sat in the courtyard for almost an hour waiting to get checked in. As hotel owners ourselves, we know that check in should not take this long and should be a quick and easy process to get the guests to their room as efficiently as possible. The staff were nice and friendly, but there are obviously things that need to be improved upon. It's a very charming hotel, but certainly not worth the price (especially with no services included in the price). It's also not very centrally located, we walked at least 15 minutes to get anywhere we were interested in going.

Great hotel in Seville

Posted Sep 7, 2015
Pros: Great staff; nice rooms; quiet courtyards and a nice roof terrace and pool
Location: Situated in the Santa Cruz district the hotel is close to some great tapas bars, some very good restaurants and city sights
Very friendly and well-run hotel in the quieter part of Seville but still only a short walk to most of the city sights.

Couldn't be better

Posted Sep 6, 2015
Pros: It was all excellent
Cons: Only minor point would be more drawer space in the rooms
Location: Good location, see above
We stayed with our grown up daughters and son in law and had a really fantastic holiday at the hotel and enjoyed Seville despite some overcast weather. Location: slightly out of the centre of the old city, but easily walkable to all areas, the benefit was an extremely quiet and peaceful stay with no city noise Staff: really lovely and friendly staff without exception, could not fault their care and attention Room: clean and well appointed, could have been a little more space for putting away clothes (drawer space), but a minor point Food: we had excellent breakfasts and a meal one evening which was very reasonably priced and the service was extremely good Conclusion: no faults, would stay again any day and would recommend to anyone visiting Seville

Nice little Hotel in a great location.

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: The quaint charming feel to it. It's also very quiet and the pool was excellent.
Cons: Air conditioning in one of our rooms didn't work very well.
Location: Great location and easy walk to almost all sites.
We stayed at this hotel for five nights. There was a mix-up and we had to move rooms a couple times but the staff went above and beyond to make up for it. The pool was better than expected and absolutely necessary in the hot summer Seville sun. The restaurant is really good as well and I recommend the chef's choice Tapas plate.
