Worst Hotel experience

Posted Apr 25, 2016
Pros: The man at check-in was very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. There is a fridge and microwave in the room.
Cons: Everything!
Location: The location is okay. It is right off of University Ave. Close to the LDS Provo City Center Temple.
When booking this room this hotel was the only hotel option available. BYU graduation was going on during this stay, causing the a no-vacancy everywhere else. I guess you could say we were desperate! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! The furniture in the room was minimal and dated. The only lamp in the room didn't have a shade. This hotel is old and run down. We had requested a non-smoking room, but it was obvious the room had been smoked in. I purchased air freshners, because my young children were traveling with us. There were cigarette burns in the bedding on as well as some of the furniture. The bed spread was old and worn. The towels were old and worn. It is a wonder this hotel can stay in business! Thank heavens it was a one night stay!

Not what was advertised or expected to Traveler's Inn

Posted Oct 23, 2011
Location: Further south because the outside of all of these motels and hotels was well kempt.
There were peanuts on the floor from the previous guest, the dark green carpet had dark stains by the bed and burn marks from cigarettes, it was difficult to open the door to the refrigerator because it set on the floor with the microwave on top, the painting was amateurish, the paint on the door was peeling off, some of the remodeling (such as covering up a door going out the back) was of poor quality workmanship, there was mold around the tub, the side walk was not clean, in general-the outside looked dumpy, and as you guessed by now, I'm disappointed that expedia even refers to this motel.

"We did not stay".

Posted May 3, 2011
This place was not well maintained at all. The pictures on the website showed what seemed like a nice basic hotel. The pictures were not accurate. Our room had many filled patches in the wall that were not painted over to match the wall paint in the room. The bedspreads were drab and unclean. Lights were not working in the room. It was not an acceptable place to stay. We ended up not staying. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away!

avoid if you have a choice

Posted Apr 30, 2011
There was nothing badly wrong with the motel, but nothing was very good, either. The linens had a dingy grey tone rather than being white. The towels were grey and had some stains. The shower curtain was mildewed. The tub drain was clogged. Two of the room lights were just bare bulbs, one of which was missing. The free breakfast consisted of one small box of powdered mini-donuts and an empty coffee maker. I couldn't connect to the wireless Internet, and the office staff couldn't explain how to get it to work. I've stayed in worse rooms before, but if I have a comparably priced option next time, I will not choose this place again.
