Nice hotel located a really short walk from to Monastiraki square and only 20 minutes walk from the acropolis. Essentially this is a great location for sightseeing. Staff are friendly an helpful and the view of the Parthenon from the top of the hotel is great. We paid a little more for a window view and it was worth it.

Staff at the property are outstanding. View from the room was amazing. Rooftop was chilly but the view was worth it. Would be wonderful in warmer weather. Breakfast was good. Lots of choices and I liked the Greek options. They had lots of seats but it did get full. good wifi. Room was smaller but fine for our needs. We enjoyed the area around the hotel and felt mostly safe but others may not. Lift is extremely small. Busy times were a wait. Temperature control in room was bad. Often times it was too hot. Room had street noise. Price/performance was good.

This hotel is basic so if you’re looking for luxury this isn’t the right fit. Rooms are clean, showers are powerful and there’s a fridge in the room. Just off the Main Street so reasonably quiet (Saturday night was quite loud but you’re in a big city so no complaints) Tea and coffee facilities are currently not in the rooms however this is meant to be happening by the end of the month (March 2024) Breakfast is decent, orange grapefruit juice or water, variety of tea, coffee machine (cappuccino espresso hot chocolate) bread, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt, fruit pastries and cakes. Alternate days offer sausage or bacon and beans are always available as well as scrambled and boiled egg. Great stay in a superb location for a few days in Athens.

The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. They had a wonderful buffet breakfast. Plus, the staff was wonderful. There was a very very nice woman at the desk when we checked in and she took the time to take us to our room and explain everything.

Great location and great air conditioning!
Tbis hotel was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. You can get free coffee or tea at the self serve coffee bar until 530 pm everyday. One downside is roof bar was noisy and lights on the side of the building were hard for me to sleep. Thank goodness for sleep pills and earplugs you may need both. Will stay here again next time in Athens;)

Great hotel, very reasonably priced. Staff very helpful, room very clean and furnishings fine. A good selection of food for breakfast. Location good for walking to all the major sites, less touristy area by meat/ fish market. Great view of the Acropolis from the roof top and presumably from the back rooms of the hotel. Throughly recommend if on a budget

Good Central Position
Good central position. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was buffet with a reasonably variety of choice. Room was comfortable with a large balcony. Hotel is a bit tired now and needing a refresh. Rooftop bar was closed and this was disappointing.

Truly Exceptional Customer Service!
4 night guest Nov 27th. I am a world traveler .....this hotel will always have a special place in my heart and mind about how exceptional customer service is to be delivered without paying the price of a 5 star hotel. Every staff member spoke English to this Atlanta customer, and every staff was sincerely passionate about making my trip the best it could be. Hotel location: excellent ! , take the metro (subway) from the airport to Monastiraki Station. Walk up (north) Athinas for about 10 minutes to the hotel located on a side street across from the very popular Athens Central Market . Great Location! Pick up some groceries in one of many shops along the way . Hotel: very clean. Room: very comfortable, free safe in room, rapid daily cleaning, fridge in room, Excellent Wifi (the best I have ever experienced abroad!!). Free breakfast: Unbelievable! ...Scrambled Eggs, bacon, fresh pastries, cappuccino, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit,cold cuts (meat)... and so much more.... I cannot think of a more complete breakfast I have had abroad that was included in the price than at this hotel! Huge Bonus: Every morning during breakfast, a multilingual concierge chatted briefly with EVERY breakfast guest asking if she can assist with each guest's daily upcoming events/travels. Her daily advice was sage, and tailored to each guest. VERY CLASSY! If I owned a hotel, I would recruit all the staff. Truly, exception customer service, and all of this on a budget! I hope to be back soon!

Nita nice neighborhood not safe. One male front desk not nice. Mosquitos in rooms. We all were bitten and staff accused us of opening the windows when we didn’t let them in

Good budget option
Room was basic, but clean. There was an unpleasant odour, but we got used to it. The location was great. We were able to walk to the main sights. The acropolis views from the rooftop bar were amazing. The free buffet breakfast was nice. Staff mostly friendly and helpful.

At first blush the property is older and seems out of date. Any of that was more than made up for in location, staff, service and breakfast. Every suggestion for a dinner spot or what ever was a great find. Hit that roof top bar first thing. The view did not disappoint. They were very helpful with the tours and shuttle services also. The elevators are small but the cool older kind. We were on the 8th floor and had no issue walking up and down as needed.

it’s got everything.
Staff was amazing, hotel was comfortable, locations was good, busy during the day across from the street market. But thankfully quiet at night. And just blocks from the train to/from the airport. Oh and a very good breakfast.

Very good value for money, cheap laundry, nice breakfast buffet. Very comfy bed. Location is perfect for a base to go sightseeing around Athens. I can only assume those who think the location is anything more than just a pretty standard central city one have rarely left the confines of the home counties. It's nothing to worry about.

The service was better with the afternoon shift versus the morning staff. I found that the ladies, one in particular was not very helpful nor kind. The location was mediocre as it is in the middle of the fruit market however not far from the main attractions. There is no restaurant and most rooms dont have a balcony which I find inconvenient. When asked if I had a balcony the one lady said I had one and then when I discovered my room to not have one the other lady told me I had to pay 49 euro more for one. If i had known this i would have booked the Wyndham which had one as well as a pool.

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry for the misunderstanding with the balcony. The only rooms that offer balcony are the Lycabettus view room which are deluxe and of higher rate, this is why you were asked extra for the upgrade.
