Pros: Location, and staff
Cons: the breakfast quality
Location: Beautiful city to walk around. One of the best Art museum I have been to. Museo Amparo, Puebla
Great hotel and location. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was mediocre.

Great hotel in the old city.

Cons: There is a limiter on the room temperature. We were freezing at night and could not increase the heat.
Location: Restaurants, museums and shops in walking distance.
The staff is great. Food is great. European breakfast. Room is good.

Room is just OK-but safe and friendly!

Pros: Staff, safety, and how centrally located it is to the Centro Historico
Cons: Cleanliness, toilets, toilet seats, lighting, bed
Location: Centrally located & within walking distance to the Cathedral, Zocalo, restaurants & shopping areas.
It's a good place to stay. We did not come to stay in a resort, so it was a good place to spend the night, after being out all day. I felt safe and comfortable. There is a safe in the room, which I thought was a plus. The staff is nice and friendly. The room was mostly clean- the toilet was not clean and the room looked like it was "surface clean" (this is why I rated it 2 for cleanliness). Location is great! Centrally located & within walking distance to the Cathedral, Zocalo, restaurants & shopping areas.

A bit disappointing could be because of the earthquake. The streets were closed off and it made it difficult to get to the hotel. The air conditioner wasn't working the first night. There were no water to shower the next day. Now it's time to check out. We were never told how to access the mini bar in the room. Maybe under different circumstances I would have given it a 4.

Nice but...

Nice hotel but I didn't really liked the neighborhood. Everything around is old and all the stores were closed. Concerning hotel service, we used the room service and since our room was prepaid, they didn't have any card on file. They called us in the room and we told them that we would pay at the time of checking out just like in every hotel. They said that they needed the payment in cash right now. It was almost 11pm and they called us on the phone like 3 times and went knocking at our door for $20. It was really annoying and to be honest I've never seen that before. We payed the day after when checking out. It's a shame because this hotel was nice but this spoiled my stay.

Nice location of hotel.

Rooms need updating. Swiming pool discusting, needs cleaning. Hotel staff try to corner you with breakfast buffet with poor quality food. They charged upfront and do not want credit credit card because they already chatge you. Very dissaponting experience with NH hotel. Nice loxation.

Missing basic necessities....

The 1st room I was given was in bad condition. The Celiling paint was chipping and looked liked water had leaked through the ceiling. Once I was moved into another room it was a little better. The hotel lacked to include basic necessities like tissues and wash clothes in the rooms. You can smell restaurant food in the morning as if it was being cooked right outside my door. overall I was disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend it to friends.
