Spontaneous Adventure

Posted Mar 31, 2017
Pros: Primarily, the staff - super friendly and helpful.
Cons: Better lighting in the back parking lot.
My husband and I decided on a Sunday we were going to take a trip with only the direction in mind (west), we packed on Monday and hit the road Tues. Each afternoon of our trip we would check Expedia for available rooms in the area we planned to land in for the night, this was the second night of our journey. The motel seemed to be in a bit of a sketchy area however we had no problems getting around and after a while we realized our fears were unjustified - overall, this motel suited our needs for the night and the price was right. Id also like to note that we also received a call about 8 pm that night from the front desk to make sure all was well with our room - this was the only time during our 9 night trip that the staff placed a call to ensure we were happy with our room and that there were no issues!

Rudest staff ever..

Posted Mar 5, 2017
Pros: nothing
Cons: new staff
Location: We watched people out window seling drugs fighting smoking
So when I checked in front desk put me on 3rd floor, I asked if they had elevator, The girl looked at me like I was stupid. she never answered question, Than my wife asked her and she responded to nasty, than rolled her eyes as she sat at desk doing nothing, basically told us nothing. Stayed 2 nights never again. room was so unbearable freezing. Heat didn't work. I Coach and take teams of kids places. That was way way more quiet. kids running hall 2 am next day checking email when housekeeper walked inTelling me she needed to check room, to get my deposit back.mm I didn't give deposit used credit card. I stay in hotels 6 to 10 times year. Was unreal, oh keys didn't work on outside doors.

The room smelled like cigarettes

Posted Feb 28, 2017
The room and hallway smelled like cigarettes. Made my kids sick and my husband couldn't sleep. The front desk lady was super friendly however the smell ruined it. We got there late could pack up and find a different room we left before 8 am. We just couldn't handle it anymore.

The bed was awesome. What you would expect in a 5 star hotel

Convenient location, but I'd stay somewhere else

Posted Nov 19, 2016
Pros: Convenient location for me, but i would have gone Motel 6 if I'd known it was close by.
Cons: Courtesy, actual handicap rooms
Even with an accessible room, I still had stairs. No luggage cart. Very difficult with a walking disability. Front desk clerk didn't seem to care. No place to hang clothes in the room. "Breakfast" was usual cereal and sweet rolls.

Thank you for your recent stay. Please accept my apologies for my front desk not being accommodating during your stay. It is our responsibility to offer help with your luggage or any other needs you may have. This is unacceptable customer service and my staff will be confronted. Thank you again for your feedback.

Convenient location and price

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Cons: It would be much more homey to have real cups and plates. In addition, I think it is common knowledge that Styrofoam is not biodegradable.
I was looking for a bargain place to spend the night, and I was not disappointed. However, I was disappointed that the hotel uses Styrofoam cups, plates and bowls for breakfast. It would be much more homey to have real cups and plates. In addition, I think it is common knowledge that Styrofoam is not biodegradable. Of course it is cheaper not to pay staff to put real dishes in a dishwasher, but...

Smokey hotel

Posted Nov 8, 2016 on Hotels
The smoking rooms were too close to the non smoking rooms. Price was a little high for the quality but breakfast was ok.

Pet friendly? Maybe not.

Posted Nov 5, 2016 on Hotels
The Person at check in needs to find another job, very unhappy person, no warm and fuzzies from her. It is supposed to be pet friendly hotel but there is no place to take your dog to do his business. The back of the hotel is graveled peppered with broken glass and is not lit up at night. No grass to be found only tumble weeds growing along the parking area.

Thank you for your recent stay, I found it quite disturbing my staff did not make you and your pet feel welcome. We are pet friendly and do have designated areas. Your right we do not have grass but we do have two sections for your pet that should have been explained to you at check in. I apologize for any rudeness you experienced during your stay.

GREAT REMODEL!

Posted Sep 27, 2016 on Hotels
There for the Chile and Frijoles Festival with my kids. The owners, a very nice family, just remodeled the public areas as well as all of the rooms. What a great upgrade. the rooms are very nice and the new beds are very comfy. We stay at this motel every time we come to Pueblo and we highly recommend it!
