The service is outstanding! I had book a double room because they were not more available, but they helped out with a new room. They were so helpful with absolutely everything! Highly recommended!

Posada del Mar was amazing! My brother and I spent five days there while backpacking the Galapagos, and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Carlos and Abigale were professional, polite and had tons of information for us whenever we needed it, and Carlos makes coffee for guests (for free) first thing each morning, which comes in handy for morning island hopping and exploring. One of the additional perks is that the hotel is above a delicious Deli, so the place always smells like fresh bread.

A review well worth writing: Carlos was nothing short of a well mannered man who not only expresses care and support to his guests, yet up holds a level of integrity by following up on his offerings as promised. Family run giving a cozy feel yet professional enough to experience the best of both worlds. I also had the ocean view which added a nice touch. Would be happy to stay here again.

We loved this hotel! It is located on a side street right off the main shopping area so you are close to attractions but still on a quiet street. The room itself was clean, comfy and had all the amenities we needed, plus a gorgeous balcony! But it was the hotel manager(?)/ male staff member who really made our stay amazing- he had so many recommendations for local restaurants, what to see &do, and helped us figure out transportation to various attractions. He was so helpful and kind, we really appreciated his help! :)
