Beautiful hotel right in the park!!

Posted Sep 4, 2017
The staff is very caring and very available to help you. It is a very relaxing resort. I did not realize how lovely Iguazú and the hotel would be, I should have stayed longer!!!

Fabulous hotel close to the Falls

Posted Sep 3, 2017
Pros: Views of the Falls. Breakfasts. Pool. Overall ambience. The room itself.
Cons: There's nothing I would suggest improving.
Location: There are great walks from the hotel - all easy and no more than a couple of hours. It's also worth a trip to the Brazilian side of the National Park.
Based inside the National Park gives you access to the amazing views and walkways before the main gates open for the day visitors. This means that you get some early views with no-one around - amazing! It's worth getting a room with a view of the Falls if you can stretch to it because waking up with that view is inspirational. The spa looked great although I didn't use it. The pool area is super although the pool is not heated - a tad chilly unless it's baking hot. The hotel itself is very well appointed (don't be put off by the outside as you drive in - I think they have tried to make it merge into its environment). The breakfasts are great although if you're staying for more than a couple of evenings, the dinner menu can feel a bit repetitive. The concierge was very helpful for information on visits etc. We hired a driver for one day to get us through immigration into Brazil and spent the day on the Brazilian side of the Falls - it's worth it. But even if you don't do that, there are about four good (and different) walks on the Argentinian side. Nothing too taxing at all.

Excellent place to see the falls

Posted Aug 28, 2017
Pros: You feel inside the adventure, since you wake up in the morning and see the falls from the window of your room.
Location: You must visit the restaurants "El quincho del Tío querido" and "La Rueda" to eat good meats and fish from the river.
You are inside the iguazu waterfall park and you can dedicate all your time to see and enjoy.

Look no further than this hotel

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Location: Make sure you go on the boat ride under the falls. I would recommend doing this near the end of the day as you get quite wet!
Being the only hotel within the park gives you the opportunity to get up in the morning and walk straight from your hotel to the falls. If you get wet from any of the falls you can easily pop back to the hotel to freshen up before going out to explore again. The hotel staff are amazing at explaining where everything is and what sites to visit first. When booking your room, be sure to pay the little extra for a falls view. If you are travelling all that way you may as well have the full experience.

You're here for the location

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: location, breakfasts, excellent service from some staff
Cons: more consistent service no extra charge for normal things (eg. heated pool, bottled water) upgrade tennis and basketball courts
Location: Location is excellent
Despite booking a "deal", we still found the hotel quite expensive for what you got, and some of the facilities quite down and out. The location is great of course, but the service ranged from really excellent to almost rude. Everything is extra (even the heated pool). You're effectively captive in relation to food options, unless you get a cab into the port town (we were charged 250-300 pesos each way). The breakfasts however were great. I think a focus on more consistent service needs to be their number one aim, otherwise people might find the hotel on the Brazil side a better option.

Needs updating

Posted Jul 8, 2017
Pros: The location
Cons: Hotel needs to be updated.
Location: Location was wonderful couldn't get better.
Hotel needs a makeover, very bad odor in the hotel not sure what it is. Location is so good why not spend the money and make this the place to be in Iguazu. Just don't understand why it's not in better condition

Perfect location for seeing Iguazu

Posted Jun 6, 2017
First impressions not great. On arrival by taxi at 6pm for check in was stopped at gates and told to pay 500peso per person park entry fee. Despite the park being closed. So for 2 people that was 1000pesos ($aus100) simply to check in for the night even though the room was paid for already. No advice or conditions regarding this extra 'Fee' was given pre or post booking. After 30 mins of determined negotiations the hotel manager relented by which time we were exhausted tired and hungry and it was dark. We checked in went for a meal at bar lounge. Pretty average and expensive but too hungry to care. The next morning vindicated the decision to stay. Beautiful views of waterfall and wildlife from balcony. Toucans and monkeys. Well worth all the trouble. Would stay 2 nights maximum. Be wary of the need to pay extra 500pesos per person to stay there. That isn't widely advertised.
