What a beautiful property in a great location. All of the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with excellent English skills. The morning breakfast was delicious!

Super choice when starting in Puerto Varas. It's a walk up a hill from the middle of town, but it's quiet and has views as a result. The hotel is in good condition, the rooms are good sized, the a/c works well and the staff are extremely helpful, super people. The breakfast service is perfect. Dinner is available, especially useful if it's raining! We really enjoyed our stay. One note might be to request a room facing the church (west) - there are barking dogs nearby on the other side that are audible at night. Highly recommended!

I love the convenient location so close to downtown Puerto Varas and lake Llanquihue, yet it was quiet and safe.

Our stay was very relaxed. The hotel is locatex in a very peaceful part of town. Its very close to restaurants, the lake, and mall. There were times when we felt the staff can be a little bit more accommodating but they were still overall polite. Morning buffets were great. Food in the menu was not so good so we had to resort to going put to eat or ordering from ubereats or pedidosya during stay-in days due to rainy weather

Great place to stay. Well worth it! Positive: very centrally located. Very clean, simple no major issues. Very safe town, lots of places to eat, drink, shop. If you are in Puerto Varas make sure you sign up with Turis-tour and you go to Peulla. You won’t regret it! Negative: the key cards get deactivated very easily and be prepared to walk. The hotel is at the top of a steep incline, therefore the walk down wasn’t an issue as the walk back up to the hotel. Got my steps in for sure.

The Solace is fine. It is a close walk to town. The breakfast has many options. Only drip coffee. The room is comfortable, a little on the warm side, but it was a warm night. The staff was super wonderful and offered great recommendations in town! The only downside is that there is no view of the lake.

Good location, quiet, good breakfast. Attentive staff. However, reservations do not always go well through Expedia. It has been impossible to receive reimbursement for a cancellation.

This hotel is okay but could be a lot better. The room was large but didn't have anywhere to sit except on the bed. There was 1 uncomfortable chair. Also no tea and coffee making in the room. Breakfast had a big selection of food but the coffee from a flask was rubbish and no granola or muesli so the basics were missing. Great if you want a fancy piece of cake for breakfast, we don't, but not recommended if you want a simple good coffee and cereal to start the day.

Our room was a nice size with two large windows, bed comfortable, breakfast was great! Staff helpful and friendly, location was great for walking to sights, restaurants, shopping etc, yet was in a very quiet area. I would not recommend you ever send anything to be laundered at this hotel.

Quiet and relaxing - they go the extra mile
We booked this hotel as it looked more modern than many on the waterfront, and we read reviews that the breakfasts were great (ideal before a lot of exercise packed days). As we drove up our driver said most people say this hotel is "peaceful and quiet" which after a week in very noisy central Santiago sounded brilliant. We were not disappointed. This hotel was incredible. The rooms were warm, clean and so, so quiet. We had a turn down service every day with chocolates by staff at around 7pm after the morning cleaning service . The shower room was elegant and relaxing and the beds were amazingly comfortable. All the staff go the extra mile to make your stay great - Ex. I have ceoliac disease and each morning they made me my own batch of scrambled eggs fresh when I came down to breakfast to avoid contamination. After the first morning I didn't have to ask, they just did this every day. The hotel is decorated with local art, the fire in the bar and restaurant is welcome on cold days, and there are computers and printers for your convenience. The staff will also suggest restaurants and places to visit. Our room had views of both volcanoes and the other side had views over the church. It's placed just off the central square so you are in the heart of the town without being next to the busy, loud roads on the waterfront. It really was wonderfully quiet and relaxing and in 5 minute walking distance to everything.

What a great hotel! I stayed for 2 nights. The rooms are kind of small, but really cozy, comfortable and clean. You are a 5 min walk (at most) to the center of town and all the great restaurants. The hotel staff were super nice and helpful, most of them even spoke English. Would definitely recommend!
