Beach was horrible

I love the beach but this hotel beach was horrible. Rocks and seed weed all over the beach. I love going to Mexico to enjoy the Caribbean beaches not the pool. I could use any pool anywhere. We love going to Mexico for the beaches. A/C was not working indoor facilities or they had it on low. It was so hot and humid, the only place you were comfortable and blast the a/c in your room. There was no entertainment at all. So, people really didn't have anything to do at night. No live shows, they need to provide more entertainment and blast the a/c indoor so customer could enjoy themselves instead of sweating.

Pros: Ice cream cart and eye glass cleaner at pools. Large selection of pools (some busy some quiet). No reservations required at restaurants. Delicious.
Cons: King bed too soft. It also needs to have king size pillows on it. Small snacks in fridge would be helpful. Seaweed is bad but they work on it a lot.
Location: Stayed at the resort the whole time.
Loved this resort! Small enough to feel a cozy feeling, but large enough to have many choices of where to be. The friendliness of the staff is really exceptional. Every person you run into is pleasant and friendly, without exception. Loved Delmy, Gustavo and Charlie and the pool area. Also appreciated the efforts of Wilfredo and Daniel in the Mexican restaurant. The rooms are really big and well-designed with a huge shower and bath area and tons of amenities left for you if you need them. Thank you for the large-sized shampoo/conditioner, etc.

Everything was good, minus the A/C in the room. But we asked for a roll in fan and it helped a ton.

Had a great time all the staff are great workers and make sure everything is good The entertainers and activity host are truly amazing and make sure your having fun Charlie, emm ,jazz, maryal, stephanie and anna bannana are just simple the best!!!!

Great time

Great week at the Secrets Silversands. The staff was amazing! The special grilled food was great. Restaurants were okay. Spa services were really good. Entertainment was great, except we didn't care for the magic night. We loved our room and swim out. We had a small ocean view And a quiet pool area. Lots of options of places to hang out. Was displeased with how, Ingrid, photographer treated us and dealt with us not wanting to spend $200+ on photographs. She was unprofessional by complaining about her commission.

Right on the beach. Wonderful staff

This is a great all inclusive. The staff is so friendl and work so hard to clear the seaweed. The beach is very rocky. There is a preferred club beach with beach beds and lots of shade. It needs some work. Overall a wonderful relaxing place to stay

Cons: Being able to control climatisation in the room. Privilège club not worth because the only benefit is the private small lounge
Good resort and close to the airport.Beach OK for walking but water is rocky.

Fantastic hotel, great accessibility for wheelchairs too. All rooms have roll in showers. Pools are beautiful, food is great, although dress code at restaurants is strict and they are the only option for dinner, so plan ahead.

Decent Hotel

This is my first time to the Riveria side of Mexico. First, the staff, services, and food were all great and special shoutout to Daniel the bartender who took care of me for most of the week. The hotel itself seems to be in good shape, but our room seemed to be becoming dated and could use minor renovations to return it back to its newer days. The AC in the rooms was okay, but never got cool enough to be enjoyable as I would have liked. The beach does have seaweed, but is constantly cleared to be kept clean as possible for guests. We spent most of our time in the pools and it's a huge shame they close the pool bar at 5, pool side service at 6:30, and all the pools at 8:30. This resort has multiple pools and there is no reason one can't be kept open with bar service later into the evening. Another thing we found odd is that the only time music was played at the main pool was when the entertainment staff were hosting their games. When I asked if they could play music constantly they said no and to leave a review asking for it to be played. This turned me off along with the other issues I have noted when I know I can stay at newer and nicer resorts for the same price. Overall don't regret staying here as the main things (food, service, staff) were great, but I will be trying other places in the future.
