First my flight was changed, then my hotel was hanged a week before leaving. U was told I would get an upgrade and git a downgrade! This hotel was very strict and didn't allow you to even put music. The rooms were not ready at arrival. The air conditioning was broke as well as other appliances. If you would if not selected this horrible hotel. Me and my 2 boys would not have this horrible accident. This was my boys first time traveling and you ruined it for them! This was a the worst experience of my life! I paid for a 4-star hotel and got put in a 3-star hotel with NO OCEAN VIEW!! Never again!

I paid for only ocean view & since they change my hotel. I was not put on ocean view room. Too strict couldn’t even play my music in a low volume at that. Also, one restaurant open as a buffet. Nothing they said they have on website as an activity was open. We have to go with outsider for activity & my family suffer a major accident on boogie & Atv rides.

Grand paradise was sold and under repairs , an upgrade was offfered at Casa Marina and Reef, in Sosua Great place love it.

A few days before i was emailed that this property was being sold, if i wanted to stay at another property. I said ok. So we went to Casa Marina Reef in Sosua. They gave me a Select Room and said that i had access to the vip lounge. The safe in the room had no key pad, it just had a hole. There was just one electric outlet near the beds. I believe i saw some with the wires coming out. The floor and lamp near the tv had rust on it. The tv sounded awful. There was no vip lounge. The room was big and so plain looking, not even frames for decoration. There was no restaurants available for dinner because it was not the “weekend”. The buffet was horrible. Only a few options and not a lot of staff working there. The juices are from concentrate. Checkout its at 12pm but after u go up to the counter to leave with your bags they said that u can stay until 3pm in the area. Would gave been good to know this before.

The stove did not work. The toilet ran. It was much older looking than the photos and it need of painting. The phone was also broken so I could not call for service The food was good and the employees were friendly just could not help with things beyond there control. The owners need to upgrade the property

Moldy room. You can see the property has not been taken care of in a while. Security staff and regular staff seemed upset/rude not sure which surely didn't care for customer best experience ever.. Pool was also dirty. So nasty...

The vip “Select” section is nice but way overpriced for just a pool and tiny bar to use. I think it should be used as a free upgrade to entice people to come back when it’s busier! I don’t remember her name but a lady boss over food helped me get some shrimp and I was very appreciative. Also the food was better this time. Still needs more diversity however with so little people there I understand why it is how it is. Thanks for a good stay!

Everything was great. Ocean view was great, environment was great, staff are very attentive to guests and very helpful and friendly. All the food was great also. No complaints whatsoever.

the condition of the room , terrible old, dated , keys not working properly, unfriendly front desk staff (recommend to hire women) , Food terrible, drinks even worse, service terrible. the resort is so old and rooms needs an update badly, parking was difficult to find, sewage back up in bathrooms, will never return there even if free!

We visited many other resorts with probably better accommodations and better rooms, the place need some physical work however the staffs at this place made our vacation to be the best one. From the front desk to the lady who clean the room they all are the best. Denny, Ariel, Rafael, Victor, Anger, Johan, Guillermo, Menelgido, Lucas, Osvaldo among many others make us feel like if we were at home. So far the best attention you could receive at any resort. I would definitely go back to this place.

Decent place and nice location for beach but DO NOT EAT HERE!!! Protect yourself!!!! I got sick with severe e. Coli for a whole week because the food was contaminated! Save yourself and your family and DO NOT EAT HERE!!! It is not worth it I don’t care about the all inclusive price, the condition I came back to America in is NOT WORTH IT!!!!

Like ?  Nothing comes to mind.  This dogeared resort had its heyday decades ago. I have too many complaints to list but for the benefit of others' traveler's - The resort should screen and alert everyone upon arrival, that they need to get a COVID  test before they can depart from the country.  My two (2) vaccinations did not count !!  When attempting to depart from STI, I had to hire a taxi to a hospital, get the test & hire a taxi back to the airport and pay cash for each step.  I missed my scheduled flight  which led to landing in Miami at 8 PM, with no connecting flight.  I had to rent a room for the night in Miami ($250.00 ).  I was then scheduled for a flight at 5 PM, a mere 21 hours after I landed in Miami.  All resorts need to inform (stressing especially to senior travelers), that they can not get on the plane to go home without the test  - being vaccinated means nothing !  Vaccinations get you in the country, not out of the country.  It is not an option.  It is mandatory !!!  I will now spend time trying to forget all of the Grand Paradise's other shortcomings & dissatisfaction's that I encountered.  This establishment values making money and not how well they can satisfy & communicate with the traveler.  Please inform your customers.

told me a beautiful view when i checked in ..they the last minute they changed my room with a ocean view with lots of trees so you can't see the ocean.... The staff is very rude and not helpful at all ..will never stay there again

This is my second time visiting the country and staying at an all inclusive location. I must say that I was very impressed with the view of the beach and mountains that I had from my room. Even though the rooms could be seen as outdated everything else was on par. Enjoyed the food and the service from the staff. Very pleased overall
