Had a great time it’s was our first time therePosted Feb 14, 2018
Had a great trip. Hope I can go back in the future. Would love to see my new friend Misu she was the most helpful person in the place .. the only thing that was upsetting was the way they try to sale you a villa and your answer is “no” . They just left us waiting for a taxi and didn’t care if we got back to our room safe.. .and you can tell the salesman was upset cause of our answer.. not a good feeling .. thank you maribel Mesa

Not what I was expectingPosted Jan 24, 2018
Without a VIP you are limited to one beach and it closes at 6pm and also the pool. Coming out of the breakfast buffet I was surrounded by resort piranhas that first ask you if you got you FREE resort gift, from there they rake you to a building in order to take make you waste of time on a 4 1/2 hour tour for a timeshare. I only was there for 3 days and the only fun i had was eating at the Trabichi mexican place, big shout out to Santos the bartender , awesome person. January in the northern part of the country is at an 84 average breezy weather, water was cold. The room wasn't that bad but very outdated, took a shower and the pipe must have been clogged, water was running all over the bathroom. I called the front desk and got everything resolved in 35 minutes. To eat ,Casablanca has everything , Trabichi was good but the "fancy" Brazilian place was horrible, but maybe is me because I'm Hispanic and I like flavor and good quality meat. If you really want to enjoy this place get the VIP and enjoy 5 beaches instead of 1 and 20+ restaurants instead of 5. They will force you to join the time share club and be prepare to spend the rest of your day in a golf cart. If you do join they will hound you to upgrade, this is coming from someone that has join the club.

Intriguing hotel!Posted Jan 24, 2018
Pros: The whole property was amazing. A shuttle ran to other areas of the property on a regular basis. Food was great. The drinks at the bar were average
Cons: The room needs updating. The wine could stand to be upgraded too.
Location: I don't think there was anything to do outside the hotel but there was so much inside, it didn't matter. 11 restaurants, casino, etc.
We arrived late and check-in went smoothly. Our room was very close to reception, the main restaurant and a small store. We left our luggage and went to get something to eat. We were then escorted to our room. The room was large but in need of updating. The closet door was stuck in the middle of the opening. We had a safe. Room had a flat screen TV and a coffee-maker. Housekeeping kept it spotless. There was a terrace as well.

Worst resort of all in puerto plataPosted Jan 14, 2018
Rude staff upon arrival. Bathroom and hallway floor was wet when i got to my room. I ASSUMED IT WAS FRESHLY MOPPED. i went about my business and left the room to return to a flood. I called to notify them and was told it would be fixed. Another 2 days of this nonsense went on til it was fixed after 3 night of being there. Food is terrible. Then to hear the staff talk about me in Spanish to one another as if i didn't understand was the most unpleasant thing to go thru.

A beautiful hotel great stayPosted Dec 21, 2017
We really enjoyed our stay at Lifestyles. The staff was friendly, the food was great. I definitely will go back it's so large this hotel that I didn't get to see even a quarter of it. So many things to do and see it just makes for a fun trip.

Lifestyle tropical never again!Posted Dec 20, 2017 on Hotels
Terrible service. My reservation was cancelled as I arrived a day late ( even though I emailed the hotel twice and had a confirmation of the changes I made). I had to spend half an hour on skype with hotels.com trying to rectify everything. I also bought additional hotel day and requested merging those two prior and on arrival. Filled in the documents twice. Still was asked to leave a day earlier and there was no record of it... Anyway, while the cleaning ladies were lovely to us the rest of the staff’s behaviour was appalling. Hostile or sexually inappropriate. The first day we were forced into a 4h welcome trip that tried to coerce is into buying shares of the hotel by showing us presidential and royal suites as well as beaches and clubs we were not able to assess as basic guests. The tour guide kept on saying how low and unattractive our yellow bracelet status is. Kept on asking about our credit card allowance and didn’t stop the tour even though we felt sick and hit and jet lagged and asked him to take us back to our hotel.

Amazing holiday in paradisePosted Dec 20, 2017
Our vacation couldnt have been any better. The food at the buffet was so good we didnt bother with the a la cartes. Our room was in the only building that hasnt been renovated yet so it was very plain. But it was close to the pool, the beach, and the buffet. The entertainment was spectacular. This was our second time there and we cant wait to go back.
