Beautiful view

Microtel is a comfortable hotel in Palawan that has exquisite and breathtaking views of the ocean and sunrise. Absolutely picture perfect! They have very hospitable and friendly staff that's always there to assist us in our needs. I recommend this place and would visit again in the near future.

Pros: The pool is well maintained and is on the beach
Cons: Needs renovating, Towels are tired,

DO NOT STAY HERE. MOLD!!!!

HORRIBLE. DO NOT STAY HERE. DISAPPOINTING at best. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Booked for 5 days, stayed only 1 night then had to leave (regardless that I fully paid for all nights in advance) due to the unclean environment. MOLD (SEE PICTURES) in the room is digusting. I travel all over the world for work and I've never stayed at such a horrible place. Food was terrible, staff was no help when I brought the mold issue to their attention. I initially asked to change rooms to a clean room with NO MOLD, they told me there were no other rooms available. I asked for a refund since we refused to stay there another night due to the mold issue - all over the ceiling and inside the bathroom - they refused to provide any type of refund.

As had previously been explained to you, the "mold" you mentioned was actually a water stain that has since been addressed. While it is not entirely possible to get rid of molds 100% in damp conditions like those found in bathrooms and especially in the humid conditions of a seaside environment, we take considerable time and effort to make sure that our facilities are thoroughly clean and safe. Away fr hustle and bustle

Only stayed 3 nights, we love that we have the ocean view . It's a family vacation nine of us and it's priceless to observed our kids and their spouses having fun and just hanging out under the coconut trees. And if we need to go to town, shuttle is available. However , I think the hotel needs some make over, but can't complain with the prize.

Nice hotel close to beach with great staff

Pros: Overall service and attitude of staff.
Cons: Access road from town has a bad section - city needs to repair.
Location: Beach front location. Lots of restaurants accessible by shuttle in Puerto Princesa. Tours include City tour, Island hopping and Underground River.
Stayed for a 6 day vacation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Free shuttle makes access to town and airport easy. On site poolside restaurant serves meals all day (independent from hotel). Free Wifi was appreciated. All tours pick up at hotel. We will be back.

Hotel is on the beach!

Pros: As above.
Location: Shuttle service into town.
Lovely hotel on the beach. My whole family celebrated New Years Eve at the hotel. Good food, clean hotel, friendly staff, well-organized excursions. Swimming pool.

Great location and customer service

Customer service is excellent and would consider this hotel again on our next vacation but the only item that would stop us if there is a better facility is the poor internet connection; not at par with other hotels of Wyndham
