Great budget hotel

Posted Jul 18, 2016
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa del Caribe Inn! The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. The hotel is in a great location; 2 blocks from the beach, lots of restaurants nearby, and really close to the freeway for easily getting to other areas. This hotel is great for travelers who want to spend their time seeing the sights and don't care about fancy hotel amenities. The rooms are clean and nice, but not new or fancy; our room was pretty small and didn't have a fridge, and I did not like that the windows didn't really open, but it did have great air conditioning that worked awesomely and cooled the room quickly! There was also a really nice outdoor patio area with tables and chairs and a comfy couch for lounging and socializing. I would absolutely stay here again!

Quaint little Inn with need of a renovation

Posted Jul 12, 2016
Pros: Convenient
Cons: a lot of things...put some money in to fixing it up!
Location: Location was good for tourists..beach, restaurants(rather expensive) and bars..but very touristy. If I had known I would have booked in Old San Juan..
You should take the beach photo off the main webpage as it makes out it's on the beach. That's why I booked it. I would recommend it to a certain type of person but not to all. Rather run down. Needs a renovation. I was a bit annoyed when I arrived as it's not what I expected form the webpage but soon got use to it! Very convenient.

If you are not the fancy type nice for your buck

Posted Apr 13, 2016 on CheapTickets
Pros: I liked the privacy of the hotel, the central location. Close to everything
Cons: Check in. I, like many others I saw, are confused about check in happening from another location.
Location: What's not there? You've got a park literally behind the hotel, a nice beach, bars, clubs. The trip to Old San Juan a few bucks
I stayed there from Tuesday to Monday. The Inn is nothing fancy but you definitely get more than you pay for. The hotel is centrally located in an obviously safe location surrounded by other fancier hotel. I got a bedroom with a bed that can definitely fit 4 people! It was a surprise. The room was very clean, unlike other cheaper hotels I was in Isla Verde. No sand on the floor and stuff. The hotel has old school key and fence. Do not expect a fridge and you'll have to borrow the iron but other than that, I felt like I got more than what I paid for.

Close to beach

Posted Apr 11, 2016
Pros: close to the beach and quite a few nice local restaurants and bars.the staff was very friendly and helpful, especially avaluza(sp)
Cons: they really need to put some money into updating, rooms need more ac plugs, rooms need fridges and microwaves, need some type of breakfast
Location: authentic food restaurants, some fast food and clubs.Old san Jaun is close by as is the beach
not a lot to say,we wanted cheap and you get what you pay for.i wouldn't say this is a terrible hotel.i did notice every day someone was cleaning something.it's an older place and it really shows but like i said,i felt it was very clean and well maintained. the rooms need a refidgerator and a microwave. we stayed for a week and this would have been a better stay if i had the option to store and heat my food as eating out in the area is very expensive.there is a fridge and microwave in common are but it's a commom area! anyone can take your food/drinks or do whatever to them. The most disappointing part of my stay is parking.allthough not the hotels fault.if you rent a car, forget about finding a local parking spot.marriots is a block away and this hotel will give you a voucher for $20 off per day,so you can park in the marriot garage for $20 a night instead of $40 The traffic is jammed packed all day and all night. the area seemed fairly safe, just a few homeless people
