Nice tropical hotel

Posted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: Cleaniness
Cons: Need coffee pot in room
Location: Beach is about 15 minutes away
Enjoyed our stay, we stayed our day in PR. Decided to come back after touring the island and stay our day in PR. Near the rain Forrest and beaches

Great hotel at half the price of the next one.

Great hotel, friendly staff, awesome food and drinks. The pools are amazing and big. Had issues with small roaches and ants in the room. Overall a beautiful hotel and would stay again.

the outside doesn't match the inside

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: They did have a miniature golf course and a lazy river pool.
Cons: They need to update the rooms and make sure everything looks on point. First impressions are everything.
Location: We were planning on visiting the island of Culebra. The ferry to the island is 2 minutes away by car.
We picked this hotel because of its location and the pictures. Unfortunately, the outside of the hotel did not match the inside of the room. The beds were not comfortable. The bed spread on one of the beds had a huge rip in it that was visible when walking into the room. The bathroom has corroded/ rust around the exposed pipes under the sink that looked gross. We only planned on staying 1 night... and that was enough for me.

Not what we expected

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: The staff was very nice and accommodating.
I will start with the good. The staff was wonderful. Now for the rest. There is no beach (maybe this is common knowledge, but we were expecting a resort on the beach). This place also looks nothing like the pictures on the website. It is pretty run down and really kind of depressing. It might be a good for a family with kids, but we were not that. The rooms were oddly laid out with a lot of dead space, the food was horrendous, the pool dingy and lacking any sort of view at all (unless you like looking at chain-link fences), and most of the place could use some fresh paint. We were scheduled to stay two nights but bailed on the second night and headed back to San Juan and the beach. If you are a couple looking for a romantic place to stay, this is not it.

Disappointed..would never ever stay here again

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: nice winding staircase. The bartender was very nice and made a very good drink.
Cons: Besides the above.....the elevator needs to be updated. The rattle a it goes up or down is nervewrackig. I expeted it to stop or drop at any moment.
Location: Close to Luquillo Beach but so are many other hotels:(
I reserved a room for my 90 yr old wheelchairbound mother that has a amputated leg and my daughter.I had asked for accomodations for a wheelchair bound person.I was given a room with no such amenities. Low toilet seat was a problem, no shower bench, no hand rails. The table in the room had barstool height chairs. My mom couldn't even shower. Requested room 2 months in advance and even confirmed before getting to PR. We received one wash cloth for 3 people. When I complained to the front desk I was told that one the computer someone had only written,,, bath bench requested for person in a wheelchair!!!???? They couldn't find a bath bench so they brought up a poolside chair. The was a coffee pot in the room that you had to put on the floor because the outlet was too far and furthermore if you wanted coffee you had to purchase the coffee pods at the front desk. Breakfast was expensive and awful and the coffee tasted as if it were a few days old.I travel quite a bit and I have never had to purchase coffee. After cleaning the room the next day they removed all our plastic cups and paper coffee cups, didn't replace them and again left us only 1 washcloth! The bellperson just left our luggage outside of the room while I pushed my mom's wheelchair in to the room. Luckily , I was only here for 2 days . My stay at the Condado Hilton Plaza was satisfactory and the service at El Conquistador was excellent...Sorry , Fajardo Inn will never see me or my money again!

Nice Hotel.

We only stayed one night and it was great! The pools are amazing. The room very spacious and clean. The location is perfect because it is located next to the port. The only thing i didnt like it is the parrot at the entrance. He/She seems to be sad or sick. That's is my point of view because i'm an animal lover. I definitely recommend this place.

Ok hotel a bit far from beach and other activities

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Rooms quite good, typical 3 star hotel nothing fancy. Would have liked complimentary bottled water. They prohibit coolers in the room which is upsetting. Food in restaurant was great! Recommend hotel due to lack of other 4 star hotels in Fajardo.
