Beautiful place.Posted Oct 6, 2015
The location was perfect. Right by wonderful restaurants and bars. The place itself is stunning from the woodwork to the open air concept throughout the entire building. We only stayed one evening, but enjoyed it emensly. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Old San Juan. The history is rich in the area and also in this lovely hotel. We had a drink at the bar. They have a nice wine list. We also had breakfast which was mediocre. I probably would not eat there again, especially with such great restaurants nearby. Our server was a little slow and was distracted by other employees so it took a long time for him to give us the check. I did not stay there to dine in so that does not have amy influence on how great I thought our stay was. We did not go to the pool, but it looked very nice and serene. When we go again we will be sure to stay a few more days so we can enjoy it.

This hotel was perfect!Posted Oct 6, 2015
Pros: Restaurants, ambiance, location
Cons: Price of the movies, size of the bed
Location: We walked to the pier and enjoyed live music, street food and drink. There are shops nearby as well as local vendors.
My husband and I had just got off of a cruise boat for our belated honeymoon in Sep. and we stayed at this hotel to extend our trip one more day. I am so glad I choose it! The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere in Old San Juan and it is close to the port. The staff was so sweet! They text you if you request an early check in when your room is ready, which is very accommodating. The grounds were so beautiful, we had a hard time finding another place to eat, so we just ate there! The tapas restaurant had great food and even better service, ambiance galore! The breakfast- TO DIE FOR and so reasonably priced for a hotel! Our room was clean and updated with cable and movies. We enjoyed our stay so much, we were sad to leave!

Would certainly return.Posted Oct 5, 2015
Some old world charm but modernised where it needs to be. We had dinner there on two occasions and enjoyed it better than other places we visited. Our room over looked the park out the front of Hotel which i would think is probably the better of the views. Rooms were spacious enough and had good character. The wine and cheese they put on in the evenings we managed to get to twice and is a very nice touch to start the unwinding process of the day and chat to others ! The hotel has arrangements with two very nice hotels on beach back towards the Airport which we took advantage of and really enjoyed them both. Approx $22 each way in taxi. Easy walking distance to shopping district through the cobbled streets. All in all very much enjoyed our stay !

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was so friendly and available for whatever questions we had or assistance we needed. Loved the wine and cheese hour! The hotel location is perfect, bars and dinner options withon walking distance. We rented a car, valet service was wonderful, friendly, and fast. No continental breakfast included but everything else made up for it.

Nice Hotel in Great Location of Old Town, nice viewPosted Oct 1, 2015
Pros: Great location, 10-15min. walk to all city.
Cons: Everything was great.
Location: Old San Juan is the BEST place to stay, you are close the governor mansion, shopping, great local restaurants near by this hotel.
Staff were great, especially with George who greet us when we came in to the hotel. Front desk Aisha, Andrea were very nice. We told Aisha it was our anniversary and she brought a nice bottle of Champagne to our room, she should be the next manager since she completely understands customers and communicates very well with all kinds of people.

For a 500 year old building it's very nicePosted Sep 24, 2015
Staying in a historic building and being surronded by the same is an experience all should have. The staff was great. The room was very nice. My only issue was the restaurants. Menu is limited. But it's actually a non issue. There are dozens of great places to eat within a short walk. I will stay again.

very cosy and beautiful historic placePosted Sep 16, 2015
Location: in the middle of old San Juan, great for strolls thru town, to look at the gorgeous colors of the buildings and close to the forts.
lots of attention to detail and for the comfort of the guests. lots of special attention like a complimentary wine and cheese happy hour, extra cleaning of the room to prep for the night, and a wonderful historic feel. A warm feeling all over

Small luxury hotel in the heart of old San JuanPosted Sep 7, 2015
I literally walked to all the sites. Old stile hotel. Complimentary wines are offered. Everything was perefect. However you have to pay for the parking. Overall was great!
