I would absolutely stay here again. The Mayaguez plaza is an inviting hotel with easy access to so many close spots to enjoy in the city. The staff was helpful and courteous. One night the fire alarm kept going off in the middle of the night, but that may have been an unruly guest. My only complaint was that the shower never really got hot, but it was tolerable and my experience was great overall. Two thumbs up!

The hotel is clean. The breakfast was good. Have coffe and water all the time. In car was close to the university.

The hotel is in great condition for a historic building. Is very convenient to stay here since is right in the middle of the town square. The rooms are very comfortable and the AC is really good. Overall a great stay

Romantic hotel with very good facilities. Loved the fact that it has a laundry. Walking distance to excellent restaurants and the beautiful plaza. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Loved the historic building, charming Spanish hacienda style decor and inside courtyards, and old town location. Some towels were worn out and dingy white while others were brand new. We had no hot water in our shower - a major inconvenience caused perhaps by a temperamental shower faucet? When we reported this at checkout, staff didn't seem to care.

Hotel is in good area and parking is a block away, nice and updated Lobby. Room accommodations were terrible, bed, headboard and all furniture are super old and worn out. Room safe box covered in rust. Room had a dengie smell. Limited breakfast, went 2 times to have breakfast and everything was empty, had to go somewhere else and buy breakfast. Nice and affordable stay, but don't expect a modern updated and luxurious room.

The hotel was great as well as its personnel but there were a Dominican Republic baseball delegation that makes a nightmare of our stay. Children alone w/o supervision, running all the time down the hallway, screaming, turning on the fire alarm. It was the worse stay in my life. But I think that even it was not the fault of the manager of the hotel you need to be very careful when allow those kinds of activities

Es una buena opción cuando uno anda de pasada por el pueblo de Mayaguez. Es limpio no tiene alfombras y tiene una nevera. El desayuno es excelente, tipo hotel de EU, algo que casi ningún hotel del área tiene y uno no tiene que salir de la facilidad a comprar desayuno. Tiene cafe todo el tiempo. El acondicionador de aire enfria bien.

A good hotel, I’ve stayed many times. This last time there were many people in the public facilities playing loud music with some speakers, and a lot of kids running by the floors aisles. Inside the room we can hear all the outside noise. Not so joyful, but the room was clean and comfy.

Great atmosphere inside the hotel, very clean and modern rooms. Staff was great and breakfast better than expected. My only complaint is that the surroundings don't look safe as there are no close businesses and cars are very noisy. The hotel was pretty good, not great.

Never got the chance to stay at hotel. On the day of reservation. Went to check in and no available rooms and still waiting to get my refund. Expedia didn’t do their part at all with getting me funds and didn’t allow me to get contact information. Highly would never recommend or suggest to anyone.
