Staff is very friendly. Hotel location is perfect for easy access to multiple beaches. Hotel room was small and crowded with items.

The hotel atmosphere was peaceful, which was much needed. The day staff were quick to handle any minor issues we had, and the night guy was also very helpful. The hotel premise was clean, and tidy (Kudos to the staff). The coco flan in the restaurant was AMAZING (must try). Overall we recommend this hotel, and you can't beat the price.

We arrived after a 2 hour drive from San Juan and it wasn't what we had hoped for. There was no beach, just a narrow rocky shore with grey uninviting water. The swimming pool looked OK but it was by a busy road. The restaurant was very basic and there didn't appear anywhere pleasant to sit in the gardens. We decided this was not for us even before we saw our room and tried to cancel our 3 day reservation, but this wasn't possible at the time. However, the very helpful receptionist booked us into another hotel in the same group (Tropical Inns Puerto Rico)- the Manucaribe, 2 hours back across the island to the south east corner. This proved only marginally better with a nice pool, but only a narrow sand beach with the sea too rough to swim. We stayed one night, but the room was depressingly dark, the A/C was very noisy and the curtain could only be opened or closed with great effort. We stayed one night and booked into a much nice hotel (slightly more expensive) - Wyndham Garden at Palmas del Mar, a little further up the coast.
