Horribly Rude Hotel Staff, Loud Construction

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Our room was located in the construction part of the hotel. We asked for a new room and was told there were none. We finally got a new room but they charged us $400 extra and we still ended up sleeping 3 of us in a king size bed. Don't bother staying here, you're better off staying at Paradise Village.

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to post and share your vacation experience and your impressions of BelAir Resort & Spa. We are really sorry to know that the room did not fulfill your expectations, but we would like to mention that you only pay half the amount of what you have written in this comment to upgrade your room. In the other hand, the construction that is taking place at our resort is a full remodeling of our rooms and grounds to be able to offer a better service to our guest. We hope to welcome you back in order for you to see the new and remodel hotel and serve you as deserve. Sincerely, Angel Zavala General Manager.

Not the best

Posted Aug 3, 2016
Rooms are dirty, sheets never changed, used towels just rehung for your use. Food subpar at best and have to take a taxi anywhere

Posted Apr 11, 2016
Pros: friendly, clean
Location: Not so many things to do that we had to get a lot of taxi's
Friendly however thru away our returning tickets and zipline tickets so we had to scramble to see if we could replace them

Close to the beach, 40 min from Bucerias

Posted Apr 5, 2016
Pros: The pool was right off the beach and the access to the beach was great.
Cons: I feel that the Hotel catered to the local people and predominately had activities that were in Spanish.
Location: The were activities that were available on the beach, Bucerias is a small town about 35-40 min walk that I would recommend. Good food, good prices.
The room was small, backed onto a large hotel next to us. The A/C units from the other hotel where right across from our room and were nosy. The back access to the other hotel was right next to us and had garbage trucks and other vehicles constantly backing down with their back up alarms. The room was overpriced for the size, location and noise level.

crowded facilities

Posted Apr 4, 2016
Pros: Staff were good, great beach
Cons: Food was terrible, needs improvement; hotel room Was very small for king size bed; that's all there was room for. It would be very uncomfortable.
Location: Nothing nearby; kinda trapped at resort.
Good location, small pool, terrible food, overrun with people.

Enjoyable

Posted Apr 3, 2016
The staff was friendly and very helpful especially since a lot of things were not explained. One example of that was the meal options. You could have either chosen between the buffet or menu but we were unaware of this since no one mentioned those options until later.
