No fue lo que me vendieron nada que ver el buffet no era bueno y la playa súper sucia. No tenía entretenimiento en las noches además de contar con camastros rotos y toallas desgastadas

Good family hotel

Posted Apr 19, 2015
This hotel is good for families with kids. The rooms have a kitchenette and they have a small kids pool. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our air conditioning was not working and they fix it right away. There's a lot of iguanas walking around the garden.

Aceptable

Estuvo bien ubicado, el malecón estaba a buena distancia. La playa del hotel un poco sucia, llena de ramitas y piedras grandes.

Bring your own towels to clean up after yourself

Posted Mar 31, 2015 on Hotels
We hardly spent time in our hotel room since we were out exploring puerto Vallarta with all the trips they helped us booked at the front desk. One thing I did not like is that if you throw up and use the towels to clean it up. They will charge you for them having to wash them. A $18 US dollar fee. Never in my life have I had a hotel charge me for washing towels. Also our air conditioning would leak water while running. One last thing don't forget to ask for the hair dryer and iron before arriving to your room since you have to request it.

nice and close to beach

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: friendly, clean, comfortable
Cons: uneven stones in the driveway...almost turned an ankle on a drunken walk home from Pirate show
Location: close to the grocery store...a block away. Malecon is a good walk away, but we did it everyday and was enjoyable
Although we arrived early before check in time, we were given 1 of 3 rooms so we could drop everything off and make our way to the Malecon to have lunch. Super nice staff at all areas in the resort. Beds were comfortable and were cleaned and made up everyday. We didn't do the all-inclusive option as we didn't stay at the resort, we like to venture out, but we did have breakfast one morning and at $7/person it was enjoyable. Only downfall was the wifi being slow and at times unstable....but really we were on vacation and didn't need to be on our phones. The beach was clean and just passed the pool area....unfortunate that the gate was locked to the beach at night but security is what it is. Each of the towers only had a few rooms which was nice as it was quiet every night. Would have been nice if all our 3 rooms had a balcony, but we didn't spend much time in our rooms so it wasn't a big deal. Will probably go back and just ignore the excursion people at the front desk area as they just get really annoying, but its their job

It's cheap for a reason!

Posted Mar 26, 2015
The first room we had for just one night was like a prison cell, living room with a window you couldn't see out of and a "couch" in a room with nothing on the walls, bedroom window couldn't see out of either, small bathroom, no balcony!! Next room for the rest of the vacation was very nice, enormous bathroom and patio. I didn't expect much from the food but was surprised about the quality and variety of food at the buffet, very good for most part! Staff did a great job but never went out of their way to really impress. Maybe because most of the staff only speak Spanish and majority of clientele is Mexican. Grounds are very well maintained, there was some remodeling going on, fairly noisy. Speaking of noisy, it's difficult to nap there, anybody talking in the hallways echos throughout the tower and into each room, doors always slam shut, loud music until 10pm (but didn't bother me none). Best part is it's cheap and you can jump on the bus or even walk to el centro easily. I recommend riding the bus it's quite fun and only 7.5 pesos. The lady selling tours at the front office is very pushy much like some vendors on the main beaches. The beach in front of the hotel is nicer than most of the beaches nearby, mostly sandy and a little rocky. A large rain storm made tons of garbage flow into the ocean and wash up on the beach, would have been nice if the resort would have cleaned up the beach more after this happened. Overall very satisfied but didn't expect much!

Location: esta muy cerca de malecón, muy buena ubicación
